All we can do is make the case. If it goes tits up, then we can say "we told you" You really think they'll listen to that? There will be an excuse, there always is. Then we accept defeat then? Run off into the sunset?. Not me

Well Tom Watson seems to be making a move within Labour tonight.
Not sure what it will achieve but wonder if it may lead to some sort of leadership challenge which in turn potentially could change policy on Brexit.

Unfortunately, I don't think it will make any difference. Still, the people voted, they get what's coming to them. Poor suckers. All we can do is make the case. If it goes tits up, then we can say "we told you" You mean hope it all goes tits up.The remainers will be devastated when none of the hysterical project fear doom and gloom forecasts turn out to be reality.

And what will the Brexiters do when it does? Its a question. Liam Fox, two years into travelling around starting trade negotiations, now says it's likely we will crash out with no deals, none, anywhere. So, good innit

But we were promised that we could stand alone, back to the Britain we know and love, a force in the trade World, Boris said so. You mean none of that might happen?

You'll be telling me next that Burnley, Leeds, Bradford, Middlesboro voted for Brexit because they want better economic European trade and not because they want the Somalian family next door exported.

It wouldn't surprise me if one of the first deals we sign is with New Zealand. Cheaper imports of NZ lamb undermining the Welsh lamb market.

I wonder what, if anything, will give.

A proper one where parties can lay out the truth and reality of what faces us. A long shot in terms of them doing that, but what else can a functioning democracy do.

Never mind about looking inward at ourselves the whole time, Europe( EU) is in a big financial, diplomatic and security mess. The reason a deal has not been struck is that the EU politicians are absolutely useless. They haven't got a clue what to do. It's not us.

I don't think you will be able to justify calling Germany and France as in a financial mess. In terms of diplomacy they have just struck a major deal with Japan. It also seems they have poured water on the flames of the fire instigated by Trump with his protectionism. In the meantime we shrink into irrelevance.

They sent the unelected water head Junker over to give in to Trumps demands.

So ignore the functioning democracy that gave the people a vote and the people voted leave? Let's use the EU rule and keep voting until the europhiles get the result they want.. For about the fifth time now can any of you pro EU lot who hate this country and are hoping it fails outside the EU make an argument for how the CAP or the CFP benefits the UK?
