I quite understand the sentiment and dislike the SNP and their ilk, would love them to put up or shut up. Mind you, same for the likes of Gove, Boris, etc al, after all they would also enter a position of nominal independence in an interdependent world. For me it would diminish us too. Having lived there for 13 years there is a significant current of anti English sentiment and I think it's time to put up or shut up. Shame we can't live in some parallel world, I'd love to see the likes of Salmond and St Nicola explain why they will keep the £ but have full sovereignty, not forgetting the other things like Clyde ship building moving out. |

Shame we can't live in some parallel world, I'd love to see the likes of Salmond and St Nicola explain why they will keep the £ but have full sovereignty, not forgetting the other things like Clyde ship building moving out. I also vote we have our submarines back as well (and the jobs/infrastructure that go into supporting them......  ) Mind you I was always told never go to sea in a ship designed to sink....so maybe they can keep them for a while.....  PS - Thought it was the Euro they wanted not the £? I'm confused......  (Easily done I know) |

(Easily done I know) True, but it's a boat not a ship so you'll have been okay. 😉 Currency wise, the last referendum stated the £, although some will accept the € in joining the EU (good luck with passing the finance criteria) and some want a Scottish currency (good luck getting credit on the international markets with a new unproven currency). |

I am surprised there hasn’t been a detailed discussion on here about how you all intend to up-sticks and go to live in Scotland.
Just imagine,you could then vote for independence from the hated English and lobby to join the EU. You could then spend the rest of your lives in a European Utopia, flashing the finger at all the horrible Xenophobes across the border.
