Is the Moderna vaccine here yet? I don't think it is. Which means we are most likely on the same delivery schedule as the rest of the EU. Are the millions of doses of the Pfizer vaccine delivered yet as promised? I don't think they are, so more bullshit bluster by this lot. Well it's a Guardian article so who knows? I thought it was your bible. However, I think you'll find we're the only EU country to be administering the vaccine, but of course that had nothing to do with the fact we've left the EU. And the Pfizer vaccine has to be stored at very low temperatures, which means we're probably unable to store huge amounts, so have to replenish as we go. Who knows, perhaps they have to produce the vaccines in batches, so there's only ever so much in existence at any one time. Of course, anything not to your liking is the fault of the Bastard Tories and the uneducated oafs that voted for BREXIT, so all's well in your strange little world. Is that the Pfizer vaccine developed by Turkish immigrants in Germany, by an American company ,and manufactured in Belgium. The one signed off by UK bodies under pre Brexit legislation from 2012?

Not Tory Chaos but chaos created by Macron. Even on today's news reports French lorry drivers as well as other nationalities who were interviewed put the blame for what's going on fully at Macrons door. So much so they were saying he should resign over it. One French driver even said the Sanofi vaccine won't be ready until late 2021 if the Oxford Vaccine was being transferred for use in France do you really think Macron would have closed the borders, and thats coming from French nationals. Quite right Trevor. Lorry drivers of all EU nationalities have been saying this is Macron trying to force us into capitulating over fishing quotas. I hope the PM has told that EU Commissioner we'll take no deal rather than give in to that f ucking French asshole. It amazes me that the EU heroes on this forum question why the UK is so keen to recover its territorial waters and fish when it only accounts for a tiny amount of our GDP, yet stay strangely silent over the EU stance when it is obvious that fishing accounts for a much smaller proportion of the EU GDP.

There is a chronic lack of decent hgv drivers in the UK, most young workers don't fancy spending days away from home, so there is an aging workforce in logistics. Rates are very high for hgv contractors who know their worth. Logistics is a booming industry in the UK, covid has made it more so. Please produce your evidence that HGV drivers earn between £80-£100 KPA.

I think you'll find the chaos is down to all those people clamouring at Dover gates for HGV driver jobs at £100,000 per annum. I'm thinking of applying myself.

It’s lucky that our government had planned for months for just this scenario in case of a no deal brexit . Otherwise there would be chaos at Dover with lorries stacked up for miles .

Lufthansa is flying in 80 tonnes of fruit and vegetables to help restock UK supermarket shelves amid fears that the lifting of a French blockade will not prevent some shortages in stores. The German airline said it was carrying a cargo of lettuce, cauliflower, broccoli, strawberries and citrus fruits, and considering whether to put on additional special cargo flights to meet demand. It said a B777 freighter aircraft would arrive at Doncaster Sheffield airport at lunchtime on Wednesday.

It’s lucky that our government had planned for months for just this scenario in case of a no deal brexit . Otherwise there would be chaos at Dover with lorries stacked up for miles . Ridiculous comment. You’re deliberately misrepresenting the situation. The French (asshole Macron) are using Covid as an excuse to stop all lorries travelling to French ports. The people he’s f ucking up are drivers from all over Europe returning home with empty wagons. There is no hold up because papers are being checked as would happen if there was no deal. Many other EU nations aren’t happy, but that asshole has probably got himself into a hole that he can’t climb out of without losing face. This is all about the French asshole trying to bounce the UK into giving in over fishing quotas, because the rest of the EU are probably putting pressure on him to back down. I hope Boris tells him to go and f uck himself. The arrogant, short-arsed frog.

There’s no doubt they’re embarrassed by the behaviour of that C unt Macron and feel it’s their duty to ensure GB don’t go short of food. perhaps they’re returning the Berlin Airlift favour. You'd think that, after saving the French twice they’d treat us with a bit more respect.

Wow, Turkish immigrants did all that by themselves? Outstanding. Im looking forward to a group of Eritrean Gimmigrants in the Penally holding centre coming up with a formula for World Peace early in the New Year.

Sorry but that’s just not true for the Moderna vaccine. The UK didn’t have ANY orders of Moderna until after they announced the effectiveness. I had posted in here how far ahead Moderna was but the government only invested into big pharma. After they announced they then bought 7m doses at a higher price. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8956963/UK-paid-TWICE-Modernas-Covid-19-vaccine.htmlIn fact, the government chose to back the Pfizer vaccine and as this article states, scientists, the people who actually know, have said the government were right to only back one type of vaccine, and to spread its research investment across several types of vaccine, hence the Moderna is more expensive for us. However, I doubt this will make any difference to you, and you will continue to blame everything you can on the Bastard Tories and the brain dead morons (all 17.4 million of them) I don't read the Daily Mail, what person in their right mind actually thinks they're a reputable source of news? The government seemed to have no problem 2 protein adjuvant vaccines, did they? No matter what you say, the fact is that what TG said was simply wrong that we overpaid on Moderna because we ordered it so far in advance. Because the fact is that we didn't. Regarding your last point on brain dead morons, your words - not mine. But I won't argue with you there. PS, did you ever learn about how we approved the vaccine? Guess you still haven't educated yourself yet. I wonder why no one else on here backs that view? Or are you the only person to argue that the Chief Executive of the MHRA is wrong and actually you're right?
