As we have all been saying, we need a big leader at the back. Yes we had to find a striker or two before the deadline, but just as important was a leader and organiser for the defence. Lockyer is proving that despite being a good defender, he isn't a leader and only plays well when someone else alongside him takes on that responsibility.
When does the loan window open/close?

Makes you realise we should of perhaps been panicking about lack of defenders in the transfer window instead of spending the entire period wondering which striker to get! Still, plenty of time to go!
