If we can't beat Crawley then I really will be worried.
Rovers to win 2-0.

Cheese, bacon, chicken and bbq sauce in pastry. Sounds like heaven! Gutted I'd had lunch before the game Saturday but I won't be making that mistake again!

If our esteemed manager has any sense he'll experiment by pairing Payne with Reilly and / or Mensah and keep his choir boy Nichols out of the frame completely. Fans may deride this competition, but there's a Wembley final at the end of it with 40,000 Gasheads singing the delights of Irene and lots of lolly so why not go for it with a strong squad? He owes the fans too after those two limp displays.

Attack, attack, attack! Let's really take the game to them (unlike Accy) and make good use of our lovely new pitch, lots of quick passing and playing it out from the back please.

Think you might be confusing it with the Checkatrade...

Manchester city beat Arsenal in the final last year
The best we can hope for is an away game with a top team in the 2nd round

The big premier league clubs come into the competition in the third round. The year we played Chelsea in the second round, they had not qualified for Europe and had finished 10th the previous season.

More likely a 2nd or third round tie against Premier League opposition as the money spinner.
I agree with a Payne/Reilly pairing, but would plead that we don't pump the ball straight up to Payne like we did on Saturday. It was like a return to the dark days when our only tactic was to play long ball to Matt Harrold. We've got plenty of creativity in midfield and should use that to get behind the opposition.

Haha, yes I got them mixed up, but there's no point in not taking this one seriously. I recall a couple of great runs to the quarter finals back in the day that had Eastville rocking. Anyway, we have to go one better then the sh**e, don't we?

Few seem to think its the Checkatrade. Yeah, I double-checked. EFL's rebranding is sh**. What's wrong with League Cup?

Is all the ground open for pay on the day ? No. Taken from OS: “The North Terrace, West Terrace, West Stand and North West Terrace are the only areas that will be open for this fixture.“ You can pay on the day in all those areas, though!

Weird that we haven't had a review of one on here yet though, maybe you could be the first.... Mind you, If they're any good you'd be wise to say they're crap, otherwise they'll all be sold out by 2.30....

I wonder where the away fan will be put? Not sure if this has been covered elsewhere, but what is the pitch looking like? Is it as good as expected?
