No. Taken from OS: “The North Terrace, West Terrace, West Stand and North West Terrace are the only areas that will be open for this fixture.“ You can pay on the day in all those areas, though! I wonder where the away fan will be put? Not sure if this has been covered elsewhere, but what is the pitch looking like? Is it as good as expected? Pitch is in pristine condition.

Is all the ground open for pay on the day ? No. Taken from OS: “The North Terrace, West Terrace, West Stand and North West Terrace are the only areas that will be open for this fixture.“ You can pay on the day in all those areas, though! Thanks but gutted... East Terrace with a bit of rain and the evening sun in your eyes is the best place to be.

Thanks for the ticket info. Missed Saturday so will be there tomorrow night. Booked tickets but was confused over where the east stand was but obviously not open. Going in the thatchers end. I reckon this match becomes important after the two losses. Like to see Reilly and Payne up front and fingers crossed for a win and an emphatic one. UTG!

Are they actually closing parts of the ground for a League Cup tie?
That must be a first?
The League Cup used to be a decent competition, but no-one takes it seriously any more. The FA Cup is only just about holding on to its reputation as a proper event.
Those of us old enough to have watched the Villa and Stoke epics in the 1970s would never have thought then, that parts of the ground would be closed now, because nobody gives a stuff about the League Cup any more.
Scrap it, I say, if nobody plays a serious team and nobody watches it.
Who would care?

I actually think this match is vitally important to us. A defeat here would be difficult to overcome for the players. They need to remember what it’s like to win again, cup game or not. DC must play his strongest team available.

DC must play his strongest team available. I would have to agree with that. We haven't won a competitive match since March 30th and have only won 2 of the last 16 so it is vitally important that we get a win here to start building momentum and taking that into the league. Even if it's just a cup game against Crawley it would be a big result for us if we can win by a decent margin.

Absolutely agree. The only way to save it.

I'd like to see both Matthews & Reilly get starts for this one, hopefully get to see the new lad from Watford get a decent run out too.

The former Exeter and Peterborough United forward signed for the Gas in 2017 from the Posh and has brought his prolific form to the West Country.

I could not make it Saturday so will be giving it a go vs Crawley hopefully should be more than a couple of thousand turn up . But wont be holding by breath and hoping for a classic can't wait to try a sausage roll to see what all the fuss is about 🤣🤣 More importantly has anyone tried one of these Hunters Chicken wraps? Cheese, bacon, chicken and bbq sauce in pastry. Sounds like heaven! Gutted I'd had lunch before the game Saturday but I won't be making that mistake agai Prefer a jerked chicken TBH.
