As far as Wael, the Family, spending money, Ollie ought to keep his opinions to himself.

Ollie needs to keep his big mouth shut Isn't he a fan just like us? Is he not allowed opinions like us too? Not on National Sports programmes no. He's supposed to be unbiased, and his job is to comment on the days games. Not to mention finances.

Not to mention finances. Why not? Everyone knows he's a Gashead. Colin Murray asked him a question and he answered. Alan Shearer does exactly the same thing reguarly regarding Newcastle on MOTD, as does Ian Wright, Arsenal, and other ex players, managers do aswell. Not to mention national radio shows and phone ins. Its not a big deal.

Not to mention finances. Oh, I disagree with this. Holloway - undoubted Gas legend, unashamedly admits to being a fan. He tries to be impartial, gets criticised; he speaks like a fan, gets criticised. He has no real influence either way so I don’t see the harm. I’d rather he speaks his mind with passion. He’s clearly not angling for the job after DC goes! Good on him.

What's Wayne got to do with it?
I wonder if Ollie ever said NH & co should be digging deeper into their pockets in the past? DC probably the best supported manager since Holloway was in charge.

Trollope was given more funds than Clarke. Holloway is a Gashead and is allowed to voice his opinions just like the rest of us. Regardless of whether its on a national Television programme, a local radio phone in or a Football Club forum like this one.

Gas legend, only for Rovers fans. He's a fan? Can't remember him turning up at the Mem to watch us. Yea, he speaks his mind, but that's not a good thing.

Think you will find he criticised the boards transfer dealings whilst he was manager in his book. No problem with what he said. Perfectly entitled to his opinion, as are all fans.

I thought ian holloway came across well on the highlights show and i dont have any issue with the comments he made. I wouldnt mind betting he has had a conversation or two with darrell clarke as well as rovers fans who feel the same way about the owners. Is it fair to be critical of the budget and other things? Not sure myself but i still feel a massive opportunity to really take the club to the next level has been lost by lack of funding from the top of the club.

Its as much his business as it is ours, shall we not voice our opinions either? Lets just ban all players, managers, former players, former managers from talking about Football full stop.
