If you don’t like what Holloway said you quite ironically are entitled to your opinion.

I think it’s been blown out of proportion.
The way he said it was in a very upbeat fashion, definitely said ‘as a fan’ and someone who just wants to see the best for the club. Didn’t come across as an attack on the Al Qadi family but more of words of approval for DC who we already knew he has a lot of time for.

For someone who won the third division title, and almost gave us a promotion, as well as be a very good servant. I personally think, he can say whatever he likes. He’s Rovers through and through, people that are quick to judge him, should remember this.

The presenter clearly took him away from his role as unbiased commentator when he asked him what he thought of his favourite club, and how he felt about the first win for so long.
Holloway at that point was free to express his opinion as a fan, and why he felt that way. His clenched fists when the Gas win was brought up showed that he is as much is a Gashead as ever, and his comment about more money being necessary is something that everyone agrees with. How DC gets it is a different issue.
I can't understand the hate for him that some show.
He's not coming back to manage us, but he obviously still loves us, and I love him for that.

Ollie has just said what we have been thinking, i think most of us thought DC would be given bigger budgets after the take over. We all thought a lot of things would be different.
Unfortunately, we entered a golden period on the pitch and probably not likely to fully capitalize on it. DC likely to move on way before any big infrastructure job is complete.

Thing is, I reckon we do have bigger budgets than we would have done under Higgs and co. Perhaps we wouldn't even be here chatting about Rovers now.
It's just our expectations have risen massively under new ownership, probably unreasonably so.

Ollie Come back and sort out the mess we are in Doess Ollie has access to multiple tens of millions of pounds, and is able to buy in to the club?? Although I think you mean as a manager...in which case he'd make no difference at all, in fact we'd probably end up in L2

Everyone? I doubt anyone outside Bristol knows that. And for him to comment on that is wrong. It's none of his business. Colin Murray asked him his thoughts on Rovers, he gave his answer. Why's it wrong? He's a Rovers fan, former player and manager. Its as much his business as it is ours, shall we not voice our opinions either? Lets just ban all players, managers, former players, former managers from talking about Football full stop. I just don't think he should have said it.

There’s probably been plenty of things he’s said in the past where some people have said should he have said that.

Of course he has a right to give his opinion, even on TV. But all he actually said was 'give us some money.' The perennial whine of the fan is always 'give us some money.' So all he's done is be a whiny fan on TV. Fair play, I suppose, for getting someone to pay him to whine about not getting enough money on TV. All the other fans have to whine about not getting enough money on the forum.

It's his opinion, but a pretty sh** one in my view of someone who is supposed to be a football manager and knows the constraints. He also knows Rovers hardly have a history of 'investment' either.
It comes across as Ollie buying into the billionaire spiel, and offers no insight as a pundit, but then he isn't on for his insight is he.
He's basically stoking the flames of any fans argument ever
