Plenty and we’ve never had a long hard season under DC as of yet! What I’m saying is , we are still conceding plenty of goals ( like last season ) and we are still missing plenty of chances. Plenty of time to turn it around but right now the table doesn’t lie, these poor starts to the season , I fear , will one day catch us out. My fear is that last season we were freely scoring when we had Harrison and Bodin (for part of the season) so we were often out scoring teams. Now I just cannot see us scoring as many at the moment. |

Also I hope those who said we should have beat Accy because they're smaller than us are reasonable and expected us to lose too the bigger team tonight We have had a defensive problem for 3 years and it still hasn't been fixed, you cannot allow a ball to drop in or near the 18yd box like we did tonight its the first principal of defending to get something on it, its very frustrating to watch our defenders who dont attack the ball Its early days however if we don't solve this it will be a long season. |

Also worth a mention is the difference in goalkeepers, point proven with their fingertip save at the end. If you have a keeper who can actually make some saves it breeds confidence in the defence and whole team (could improve our soft defence). He also fumbled a lot. Didn't look great at all until that last save. |

He reads the game very well I’ll give him that but for both goals he was bullied and rolled so easily. Passing again awful apart from one long ball to Sercombe in the first half. Anyone who disagrees or thinks he’s a good league 1 centre half please just watch the highlights and stick them on replay a few times. With him and Craig at the back we will continue to get dominated from long balls and bullied. For me it’s one or the other, you can’t play both together. |

Getting MacGillivary from Shrews was a good piece of business for Pompey. Perhaps Slocombe going out on loan means another keeper is coming in - I would have kept Slocombe and loaned out Smith personally. We still need that commanding organiser at the back though. Perhaps the Pompey keeper would have been poor with our defenders dithering in front of him. |

I know there will be the usual over the top criticism tonight but I genuinely think we aren't far off. Sounds very much as if the red card has changed the game will be interested to hear what DC has to say.

To be fair 2 of the games that we’ve lost are against the only 2 teams in this league that have won every game so far and 2 of the top 3 scorers in this league. It also sounds like we smashed them tonight and had we taken our chances people would be viewing the game and performance completely differently. But everyone will ignore that anyway, cue the meltdown. |

For me letting our most consistent goalkeeper go out on loan leaving us with only Smith and Andre is very odd - unless we have a new GK coming in very soon |
