I have and I like him. Faded a bit but seems to deserve a place in the team. We miss Lines. Sometimes you only realise what you've got when it's not there! It seems likely DC's trying to force Lines out given he's hardly started this season even before his ban. For me he's the only CM with any attacking flare at the club. I don't buy that, I think he wanted to try out his new midfield players in the first few fixtures to see how they would perform. Lines is an extremely important player for us and I see no evidence that DC is trying to force him out, also why would he do that just after the transfer window has closed and the new season has started? Makes no sense to me. |

Lines is still banned and would have been in my team had this not been the case

But he can't play together with Sercs. Unless 5 in the middle with Sinclair/Clarke as the holding midfielder. Lines would be in my team all day long at the moment. |

Lost faith in the management and owners at this point, think our squad gets worse every years and everything seems to stand still, can’t even get my head around if I care less about this game tbh.... 13-0 win tho

Head though says shrews will score a goal at home & we won't, so 1-0 loss 🙄

Not the done thing for some but to cover any emotional strain this evening I’ve placed a security bet as they call it! If we win - I’ll happily lose my money - if not then it’s a small consolation whilst I’m moaning my tits off on here later! Lol! UTG!

But he's out injured for 4 to 6 weeks plus he can't tackle to save his life, so can't play in a midfield two DC seems to be favouring at present. |

Heart says a 2-1 win but head say 3-1 defeat. Really do need to turn it round but suspect we will yet again see a couple defensive errors gifting away a couple of goals and a few of missed chances at the other end followed by yet more doom and gloom. As DC himself said trust is low in what our team can do.
Lets hope the players feel more positive than me.

He’s still at the club regardless of if he’s injured or not? Tackling isn’t what I would call attacking flare, we played sercs in a midfield two all of last season and he excelled in the role, it’s his most natural position. He’s decent out wide but so much better in the middle. |
