I’m sorry guys Big tone is f**king fantastic. He’s a credit to our defence. All hail Big Tone Glad someone else has posted this. Big Tone was immense tonight. He's not your cultured defender who looks to carry the ball out of defence as if he's Rio Ferdinand, but the man is a proper defender and leader. He headed everything tonight and for the second game running left the pitch with a shiner. Can we please finally put to bed any hint that he is past it. Not on that performance he's not. Quality.

Agree with comments about Craig. I’ve often been very critical of him since he signed, and for good reason - he rarely jumps! But recently he seems to have really turned it around and was my MOM tonight along with Lockyer.

We weren't brilliant at all today, but much needed 3 points. Hopefully something to build on. Need to get to at least 30 points by Christmas. Utg.

Also, pathetic attendance tonight. Just over 7100, and that included all season ticket holders who may or may not have been there. Support the team through thick and thin! Embarrassing when people claim that our fans are loyal because they bloody aren’t. It was only a year ago we were still getting over 9,000. First sign of trouble this season and the crowds dwindle.

That’s a big 3 points and it’s good, even at this relatively early stage that we have a bit of breathing space above the bottom 4. One thing you don’t want to do is be caught adrift as it can suck the life out of you. We know we can do better. We have good midfield options and I’m positive we will find the right combinations sooner or later. UTG!

To be fair I think that number isn't right at all. There were a lot lot more than 268 Wimbledon fans. Dons friend of mine told me there was an issue with is runing out of paper For the away tickets so they just paid on the door, so there numbers are only reflecting tickets bought beforehand. A lot more there in our ends too than the official attendance.

Rightly or wrongly crowds will inevitably be smaller now midweek due to ifollow.

I kind of agree, but even last season we had a couple of 7500 crowds on a Tuesday night so maybe not as bad as it seems. We do have a special core of fans, as was shown when we got relegated to the conference. In the relegation season and in the conference our crowds actually increased both times. We picked up 3K since of what might be seen as not such hardcore fans. Would be great to hold on to them but I suppose it’s inevitable some will slip by the wayside if our fortunes take a downward turn.

Dwindling crowds will hardly inspire them to improve.

There was next to no hot food available in the East Terrace too. A few cheaper (but still not cheap) sausage rolls and some veggie pasties and that was the lot. im not convinced there was 7k there. The South and South West stands we’re next to empty but we’re rammed on Saturday and the East Terrace looked rather threadbear too. Back to playing matters thought Danny had a cracking game and played well when he was moved to more of an attacking role when JC came on.

When we were in our slump at the start we saw a crowd of under 5000 and a few just over. Had that season been sh** our average attendance would have been a lot lower. Seems our core is about 4500-5000 which is lower than I imagined but had that season got worse how low would it have gone? Finished the season with the highest ever non league crowd with over 11,000 and also the biggest conference final.

As much as some of us want to be there, we can't always get time off work for the 5 hour round trip on a Tuesday night. Sorry if that's not loyal.

An important win tonight which was gained through a good degree of luck. Lets hope we have turned the corner before a couple of difficult away games. I dont understand why Bonham aimed his goalkicks at Nichols as he was the lone striker with no chance of retaining possession. Consequently Wimbledon were coming straight back at us. Surely it would be better to aim for the creative players in midfield.
