I worry more about their equivalents who hide in the shadows of the mainstream parties, who don an air of respectability, promote an aura of education to impress. All the while hiding their true intent. The effete Mantis that is Rees-Mogg comes to mind. |

Ha, ha, this is so funny.
Trump was telling the truth. He said he was happy to accept migrants, as long as they arrived through the correct process. There is nothing wrong with saying that.
In Europe, the politicians dallied until the migrants were swarming over the borders. Panic ensued, and still continues, from the EU leaders. Trump, on the other hand, is giving the migrants clear warning that they will not be allowed in. unless they go through the correct process. In reality, this is correct.
As for the CNN reporter, there were many other reporters who wanted to ask questions. CNN do not have the monopoly. The reporter had asked a question, and he was given an answer. Trump then tried to move around the room for other questions. The reporter then tried to ask another question on a totally different subject. He was being disrespectful to all the other reporters. Trump was there to answer questions, not to have a full-on standup discussion with the CNN guy. CNN, being a news channel, should be reporting the news, not trying to make it !
The CNN guy made himself look a cock, and has had his press pass removed. No, it wasn't an assault, but seriously, grappling with the woman whose job it is to hand the Mic around. CNN can still send someone else to report. It's no big deal.

Lots of unexplained visits to Moscow by Trumps family and underlings prior to the votes much like your other hero the vile Arron Banks

There is a much bigger picture to this, than one more farcical press briefing from Trump.
One of the key tenets of undermining democracy is to undermine freedom of the press. Trump has done this throughout his candidacy right through to today.
Another is to undermine an independent judiciary. Again Trump has done this continuously.
The next is to blame academia and the arts...the so called "elite" ditto.
Finally demonise foreigners through economic and racial stereotyping.
Ditto.
That's what we have on our hands and it's seeping into the UK and the EU.
It saddens me to read posts on here who write supporting this. Who themselves employ the same tactics.
And just think, we sit in Rememberance this weekend of those who died fighting against this ideology.
