I'll step on someones toes and start the thread then.
1-0 prediction.
Barnet goalie slices a clearance towards the east stand and Nichols volleys it straight back in. Turns to celebrate to an empty stand, pauses and then carries on for our amusement.
Pretty sure a team celebrated once by sitting in newly built stand that wasn't open pretending to be supporters. Think it might have been Chesterfield. Feel free to correct me

If Nichols scores tonight, half the forum will be saying he's turned the corner and it's now full speed ahead. The other half will be saying it's a Conference club and goals against them don't count.
I'm saying if Nichols can't score at home against a non-league club then he can't score against anyone.

Strong first 11. Just wants to get the game won with that team. Strong apart from the forwards, there's zero height with those 3 upfront. Plus Lines, who turned the game at The Hive when he came on at half time, drops to the bench. |
