I think with a proper centre forward, our existing wingers are OK. Having ballsed up the FA cup money opportunity I can't see we have the funds for more than just a couple of players on loan - we have to find the right ones. We'll have to agree to disagree then. The only genuine winger option we have is Rodman. I don't class Bennett as a winger as he plays more centrally or comes inside when played out wide. Hopefully Rodman will eventually come good, but apart from him our options are limited. Plus when wing backs are played Leadbitter cannot cross for toffee and the left side is non existent. Lee Brown you are missed.

He sounds a bit tired and emotional so I think we should let him have his rant... Sorry I'll make 200 posts about Scottish Championship players on every single thread instead. That seems to be better received on here than stating the fact our "best" striker is utter utter sh1t. You and midland gas are so boring your like 2 kids. I swear you both would slyly enjoy relegation just so you could say told you so.

We can give the likes of Reilly a chance (and probably should) but I will be surprised if there is much material difference. The squad is simply crap from top to bottom (bar Bonham). Pay the lot of them up and start from a clean slate at the start of next season.

We could have the best wingers/crossers of a ball in the country, but would our existing CF score?

I support DC post match interview, it was honest and direct, Imo in transfer window I would off load Payne (don't need to explain why) replace him with a man who can compete with muscular meaty Defenders, and someone who can support Nichols, dominant Centre Back would be nice as well, i beg the owners to support DC now, if they do and Rovers fail then there will be no other person to blame, I believe he can turn it around, and if he believe certain players are not stepping up, then don't play until they can prove they want to put in everything for this club that i love and supported for 50 years

What I don't understand is the larger number on here quite happy to keep DC even if we are relegated Utter madness as DC will be off in the Summer even if he takes us down, the thought he will stay loyal to us is equally mad.

I’d be surprised if DC will be hanging around for much longer I think he knows the Football Club ( I use the term loosely) isn’t ever going anywhere apart from DOWN

However Nichols has made something of a contribution in recent games- will we gain more by picking Reilly? If he contributes nowt then the team could (as daft as it sounds) be weakened by taking out Nichols at this point.

DC's comment about the few of his Players he would go to war with and needing others to be Men indicates the lack of physically strong Players he has recruited. Not enough height in the Team is putting us a significant disadvantage. Weak attempt to stay with the scorer of the first goal and badly out of position from the punt from the GK - who was the culprit? Second goal, we have seen similar many times for over a year now. It is utterly weak and good money is being paid for this apathy.

Very true...when browner was here I always thought how dominant our play and best play came down the left side and when Bodin was on fire we had both flanks rockin but both bodin and browner gone we are too easy to play against...we’re so predictable it’s painful to watch...

Nicho has popped up with several assists as of late, he should also have been responsible for winning a penalty in each of the Barnet games. He should be in the team on current form.

Nope and your also entitled to your opinion but you don’t need to repeat it everyday in every thread and the way you do it just seems immature and petty and to be honest at the moment he’s the best of a bad bunch because none of them are scoring but at least his link up plays been good lately.

It's hard to score sitting on the bench.

The man saved our club for f**k sake! Exactly. He saved our club. Perhaps people should think on that before casting him aside. Darrell Clarke saved Bristol Rovers from oblivion. He remains the best man for the job and will continue to be even if we go down. Everyone has a shelf life though and perhaps if there is no sign of progress after a season in League 2, then might be the time to think about it. But not at a time when we remain above what increasingly appears to be our natural level. He needs our support and I hope he gets it on Tuesday night. Now is the time to show him what he means to us. Longer term, he needs funds in January to find an effective target man. It seems he may have to offload to make this happen, which makes his job even harder, but I think it's essential that we find someone to play alongside Nichols. A short term signing like Andy Rammell would be fine, but we must find that man.
