I don’t understand why so many people think him scoring a few goals for the best team in the conference means he’d score loads in a poor team in League One. Don't think Gaffers would have scored loan but might have scored 4 or 5 which would have made a big difference. He dudnt score enpugh when he was here and now he has found his level |

Some bloke called Gaffney just scored again. Wish we had goal scoring forwards like him. I don’t understand why so many people think him scoring a few goals for the best team in the conference means he’d score loads in a poor team in League One. I wonder how many conference teams will be chasing Nichols in January to prize him away to lead the line for them? |

So depressing at the moment, I think the whole club is being dragged down by being let down by the owners. All the hope of the last couple of years has disappeared.

That then, I'm afraid is that. We will be 8 to 10 points adrift of safety by the turn of the year, and with no likelihood of quality replacement in January.....
I can only see crowds dropping to circa 6k and the debt growing. That's how important tonight's game is/was - and we were expecting a reaction from the team after DCs pre match talk. The team are clearly not playing for him now - it's sad and DC has been our saviour, but unless the owners will provide a massive injection of funds for him in January, then I can only see him having to be replaced and someone else given a chance to get this lot playing.
