I moved back to Bristol in July. The problem is me. Many years of success and then I come back and rovers are as sh** as they were when I was last here. Don't worry I'm leaving again next month. It can’t be you we’ve been sh** since Bodin left.

Discussions with the board to be had over the next few days, DC sounded dejected and frustrated as he should be. Interesting how he says that we ought to have a good go in January and spend big money on a striker, forces the boards hand. Also says how he thinks we have missed the boat to progress as a football club, this interview is probably the first time that he has put pressure on the owners in a major way and I doubt they will be too happy about it.

18 shots and counting against 10 men no goals If we had a shot every time the crowd wanted one we'd be in to triple figures. Why does everyone shout shoot when we get within 50 yards of the opposition's goal? It really isn't helpful. Not as annoying as the dickhead on the East Terrace who keeps shouting forward, forward, get rid and when the ball is then pumped long sarcastically shouts Whoosh. What a prick.

Terrible first half against an equally terrible Gillingham. Sercombe was a man possessed after he was chopped down and the anger from the dust up really got us going. The key moment for me was the linesman missing the clear offside that led to their first goal, he didn't keep up with play and if he had it was an easy decision. Although we still had over 80 mins to turn it around going behind was a huge blow to a team that knows they struggle to score one let alone two goals per game.

They won't be happy but neither are we. They need to do far, far more.if they can't do more they must step aside.

It's almost as though DC has thought f**k it. Nothing to lose now, we are only going backwards unless he gets serious backing. What's the worst that can happen now with saying what he is? He might get sacked, but us that a bad thing for him at the minute? Nothing to lose?

Everything he said is spot on. Absolutely. If the owners can't see that DC is talking total sense then they are even more clueless than I already think they are. Damn right we've missed the boat. It's not enough to have honourable intentions, they have to have the wherewithal and nouse to make serious plans and bring them to fruition. They've let DC down massively and he's watered off, rightly so, and I'm glad he's fighting back now. If they get rid of him, I will be seething.

Some blistering shots from sercombe late in the game including a fantastic goal. I know it dosnt paper over the cracks but the stupid red card made for an exiting last 20 mins.
I though their 2 strikers played very well tonight,no 14 worked his socks off and eaves held the ball up well even when they had 10 men. I thought bonham should have saved the first goal and it was painful to watch rodman struggle yet again along with a few others tonight. For me only sercombe and matthews played well.

Thing that strikes me is first half we hardly win any 50/50 balls and the effort was poor second half we won most 50/50s and really wanted it. Why was the effort so poor first half , ? We lost that game in the first half because they weren’t switched on and giving it their all. Got to say though even though we were all over them last half hour we still couldn’t score from open play at home to a poor side with ten men. water poor I’m afraid. Just heard DC on radio Bristol and what I thought from it was he’s going to Summons the board for a meeting this week got a feeling he’s going to tell them straight a few things and might end up walking away or sacked. What is he going to tell the board? Have a go at them for not giving him more money to spend on no-hopers like Nichols? The board are abdicating their responsibilities no doubt, but this is DC's team and DC's tactics and in both areas he just has not been good enough this season. If he left now it's hard to see how things could be worse. Dunno what he’s going to talk about but in his interview he said he wants to sit down with the board and talk through where we go from here. Things could be a lot worse. We’ve been beat 3-0 , 4-0 at home before bottom of the league with players who don’t try at all as I’m sure you know.

I think Bonham was playing with that injury before he broke down with it . No way would he have normally got down the way he did if fit or maybe he did it as he dived for their first goal. It wasn’t even right in the corner and should have been an easy save not like him at all. Mathews and sercombe I agree did do well to be fair they all played well second half and only the woodwork , some great last gasp defending and some very good goalkeeping kept us out but that’s the story of our season. Can’t score from open play. Doesn’t help that all our chances come under pressure very little clear cut chances with time and space because the plays so compact in the middle of the pitch with our wide players cutting in all the time either but we’ve been through that.

Was there a MoM, I did not hear any announcement?
Tonight's crowd is our lowest league gate at home for 2 1/2 years. I dread to think of the gate against Doncaster.

Robben got 2 for bayern munich and ronan curtis scored for portsmouth cutting in onto the strongest foot. I dont think our issues are anything to do with which foot the wingers favour, its more about us getting rodman and portsmouth getting curtis thats the difference imo.

Scorelines could get worse...but are they likely to get any better under DC? If we are going to go down losing every game by a 1 goal margin is the same as getting dicked every week. After every game he is giving it some very tough talk but nothing is changing. We should have seen a reaction tonight and the fact we haven't...well, the writing is on the wall. My heart would like him to stay, but that is only based on sentiment. The cold hard logic in my head says that he has lost the plot and he lost it last season. I'm not sure we have the nous to adequately replace him though either. If it were me I might be tempted to move him into a caretaker manager type role, ask him to honour his contract til the end of the season and take us down, don't back him in January and put that money towards a complete clear out ready for next season. Between our Venky's like owners, a DC who has lost his magic and players who just aren't up to league one standard we are so f**king f**ked it's absolutely unreal.

So... We should make him groundsman or something so he has to keep his contract for a year. Then get relegated on purpose. Then get rid of all the players. Then get a whole new team of amazing players with the millions saved by not buying one or two players a year before.
And apparently it's DC who has "lost the plot".

Is asking for a slither of hope too much. Good idea, ask Lansdown if we can have the Snake back.

Not as annoying as the dickhead on the East Terrace who keeps shouting forward, forward, get rid and when the ball is then pumped long sarcastically shouts Whoosh. What a prick. To be honest half the Blackthorn does that too. Constantly shout "forward" when we're actually passing the ball around a bit and then moan when we launch it at Nichols. The one time we held possession rather than launch it in the first half we easily carved Gillingham open. It's so frustrating being on the terraces atm. Payne actually played ok last night but he's now got Ellis's "lazy" tag so that's him done for for the next two years. We beat ourselves at times. I know the red card helped but when the crowd actually got behind the team we visibly grew in confidence and actually played some football.
