The snake only resigned for us after the club agreed to the low buy out figure in his contract. No doubt Bodin did the same, & the Ellis offer was too good to turn down !!! Free transfers aren't free, signing on fees etc We waited all summer for Telford (why would he come back after DC not playing him ?) then panic bought 2 strikers because all the forums were in melt down !!! So why can't the board forward plan the inevitable then ? And we aint talking about 1 player. We are talking about '4 star players'. In the meantime Rochdale keep Henderson with 3 bids in the pass 2 plus years. DC put all his eggs in the "keeping Taylor" basket !! no other option !!! & in fairness his goals kept us up in the first season. as did Bodin's… As plenty of others have stated, DC's recruitment has been pi55 poor !! |

We finished top half in our first season back and got our highest points total since 99/00, hardly just staying up because of one striker's goals! |

Some bloke called Gaffney just scored again. Wish we had goal scoring forwards like him. I don’t understand why so many people think him scoring a few goals for the best team in the conference means he’d score loads in a poor team in League One. They don't actually think that. They don't think full stop. Just a very easy complaint to make. |
