Still, we've never been hammered this season, so it's just about fine margins and bad luck at the moment. Oh, wait.... I think all of us that are honest about the performances could see that a hammering was going to come along at some point, and a bit like buses there'll be another along in the next game too Did you say buses Rod? 😂 |

He's got no one else to pick though has he that have proven to be any better than whoever he puts out. The major failings come from the board who have not given him the budget to compete in this league and have sold all of the quality out of it. If you have a bottom 12 budget the likelihood is you will be somewhere in the bottom 12. Using that logic there are 8 other positions in the bottom 12, why are we in the 4 that matter? You can't let DC off for the strikers he paid good money for. It's not like he was forced to sign Joe Bloggs from Dog and Duck FC on a free, he spent 500k and got it so badly wrong it makes you want to cry. Actually scratch that, Jamie cureton is playing in the lower leagues and even at his age he could do a better job than the two strikers DC spunked a good portion of his budget on. Throw in Mensah, 80k of player who can't get a game in the league below. He was hamstrung at putting together a promotion challenging side but he has patently failed at putting even a less than average squad together. No excuses With all due respect, £530k across 2.5 seasons is an absolute pittance in this league if you are serious about pushing the top 10 if you believe our leaders. especially when you have collected 1.7m in those years. Especiallt when you are giving away assets that net you the total of60 goals a season for peanuts and wasting money on offices in London. |

What can be done? Club can’t afford to sack manager and manager can’t afford to resign. What a state! Much as I've always rated DC, I think the club has reached the point where it can't afford to keep him either. Attendance figures will be dropping like rocks and we'll be losing money hand over fist if this continues. I do wonder where we'd be though if Steve Yates had stayed - I feel like a lot of our self-belief went with him and think that maybe he brought out more of the confidence and self-assurance in the players than we knew. |

To be fair I don't think it's the players aren't playing for him (what do I know maybe it is) I just think they are sh**e. So you have to look at budget and recruitment but who in their right mind thinks yeah I'll pop this guy who cant score upfront again, he's on form. 60 times.
