When Mark McGee was sacked in December 2012 an experienced Bristol Rovers manager through and through arrived and breathed life into our club and we went on a ground-breaking run that nearly got us to the play offs. It’s not over yet if the board take action.

I am a ST holder but could not face going today because of the utter dross we have been producing. Seems as though I was justified. I have followed the gas for 47 years but football is an entertainment and we just aren't doing it. I am grateful for everything D.C. has done for this club but the time has come for him to go. I said this after the Barnet game and nothing has made me change my mind. His record over the last 35 plus games is simply shocking. Do the decent thing D.C.!

Time to have a look at DC for me.
Bonham, Martin and Sercs the only players doing alright and he goes and takes Sercs out of the game by sticking him wide again.
He keeps picking the same sh** week in week out.
Craig, Nichols and Payne are all Dam dross.
Lines has had a water poor season too.
f**ked right off with this sh** now.

We're the better side, just the same old problem of failing to put the ball in the net. If we don't get a goalscorer in during January, relegation is inevitable. We’ve created a handful of half chances they’ve created a handful of very good chances and taken two of them Not sure how you can say we’re the better side? |

As a manager there are no excuses for continuously picking out of form players like this. He either wants the sack or is too stubborn to turn this around He's got no one else to pick though has he that have proven to be any better than whoever he puts out. The major failings come from the board who have not given him the budget to compete in this league and have sold all of the quality out of it. If you have a bottom 12 budget the likelihood is you will be somewhere in the bottom 12. As the Racing Post said, you can't keep on selling your best players and survive - however DC has been given money but he has spent it on Nichols, Payne, Mensah!!! |

We haven't played badly at all, if this game had been played with us comfortably in mid table we wouldn't have some of the over the top nonsense written on here.
Unfortunately our problems are well documented some decent football with no end product Donny have been no better than us they just have a cutting edge that we don't.

DC will be gone after this me thinks It might not be a bad thing now at least it will prevent the BOARD from hiding away. They inherited a really good team from Higgs ~ Taylor Bodin Brown Harrison flogged them off and put in peanuts. We thank D.C for all his success and wish him well !! . |
