I think if there was a definite decision it would have leaked from the club by now. Managers always come and have a look around at the facilities etc so its not hard to disguise, for example, everyone new McGhee was appointed before it was announced as he was photographed walking around the Mem.
I don't think Wael is due back until the 29th and I would imagine he would want to sign off on it so if we get an appointment before then I would be extremely surprised.

I should expect we’d see an appointment before the new year given the chance. January transfer window will be very hard to judge without a few weeks of training to get to know the team.

Widdrington stated to my mate Saturday -- There won't be an appointment until January.

Could be a Darren Patterson scenario then. Inherits a club on the edge of the relegation zone and hands them over rock bottom

Sorry if this has been asked before, not back to WSM until tomorrow, so not trawled back through messages.
My question is, who will make the decision. Wael, the Chairman or the CEO. I know who I would NOT trust.

Why all the "not Cotterill comments" is it just because he managed Bristol Sport 1982 ltd that share their ground with the Bears? He made a comment about "Rag ass Rovers" whilst managing City, plus in general he seems to have got a reputation as a bit of a twat and has a poor temperament characterised by his interview style which is very ungracious and disagreeable.

Personally , as a cumbrian with Carlisle being my childhood team I'm now gutted Keith Curle went to Northampton back in october, sure his experience was L2 but he did a good job at Carlisle and as far as i know was well respected, plus I never knew he was a Bristolian.

Does it give you a little kick when you leave a post on here and sit back and watch the rest of the posters scramble around trying to make sense of it? Genuine question.

How about Holloway as DOF and a younger prospect under him. The new Lennie and trolls! Holloway to battle the board and a younger gun to focus purely on footballing matters.

I wouldn't mind a Head Coach & DOF style setup, but I just can't see Ollie in a DOF role. He's more of a motivator in my eyes, rather than an overseeing strategist. Of course I may be doing him a disservice but I don't see it.
