can any body tell me how many times we’ve hit the woodwork this season? I thought it was 4 times yesterday although the report says 3 which to my reckoning brings the total to around 15.

After the number of times we have smacked the left hand post at the south stand end I think it might be worthwhile getting the groundsman to move the goal net over six inches.

We've already tried this. Our first game at the Mem against Stockport, believe it or not, both goals scored at that end where the goal was to big!!

Was that the one where their manager got the ground staff to measure it at half time?

Yep, that's the one.
We got reported to the F.A, but because both goals were scored at the same end they didn't take any action!

Was that the one where their manager got the ground staff to measure it at half time? If I remembere correctly, wasn’t it the keeper who complained, saying he could normallly touch the bar?

In that case can anybody tell me how many times we’ve hit the metalwork? I think it would be silly to describe it as metalwork until we know what metal it is.... I would guess steel although it's possible they could be alloy.... I'm no expert....

To be fair, it's covered in paint, so would be more correct to say hit the paintwork.
