10 from 5, no one on the planet would have declined if you'd offered them that half way through December.

water poor 1st half performance. Defending too deep and not able to advance. Players treating the ball like A hot potato. We don’t look like a vitalised team. Ed Upson needs to keep his head up son cos he is yet to impress at the mem. We can’t be this poor for another 45 mins. We were. Worst performance I seen for a long time. Created nought, Lockyer motm says it all, cash out with now

Take a scrappy point, remember the clean sheet and the unbeaten run, dust ourselves down and go again.....

Could be worse we could have Darren Way as manager
“I suggest the supporters go away and watch Sunderland on Netflix”
What a muppet!

It was difficult to get our direct counter attacking game that’s served us so well lately going because they were quite deep. A plan B needed for home games like that but it’s another point towards safety.

All things considered a solid point today and we finished looking the better and fitter team.

Dispite the draw and a few around us winning the Christmas period has dragged pretty much every team in bottom half of the table into a worrying position....
It really is getting quite squeezed....

The mistake for me was playing Martin as a replacement for THD and Sinclair over Sercombe. I can accept that THD probably needs a rest after the games recently but Martin was slow on the ball and couldn’t beat his man, Holmes-Dennis is just that class above. I felt we needed to start Sercombe from the beginning too as Sinclair was sloppy with possession and out of position too much, he did put himself about and make a few tackles to be fair to him. Burton didn’t offer much, especially not in the second half, we certainly looked the better team throughout.
Unbeaten in 4 and away from the relegation zone though, so I’ll take that. The squad is showing one or two promising signs and with reinforcements in January, will hopefully move further from the relegation zone in due course.

Tired performance and boring game. At least we managed to keep a clean sheet, but if we want to stay up really need to be beating teams like that, Burton were nothing special.
Crying out for some wingers in January, Martin left midfield was painful to watch and subs didn’t impact the game at all.

All things considered a solid point today and we finished looking the better and fitter team. Yeah, we definitely lacked energy until Sercs and Lines came on.

Martin and Sincs our best players today - but yeah not there for the creativity. What's happened to Matthews could've chucked him on with 20 to go on the left ?

Might have been a mistake, but its easy to see why he did. Trying to keep a continuity of sorts

I think our first choice wingers (Rodman and THD) have shown that they are enough. We have no back up left winger though which will be a problem as THD won’t be able to play every game. It’s essentially that we keep Jak until the end of the season. Still not convinced by Reilly so would like another striker to be first player we bring in.

GC obviously likes it balanced with two left footed players on the left. But when THD cannot play I would have thought it would have been better to play either Matthews or Bennet on the wing as opposed to a defensive left back, especially at home.

Thought today was a very powerful and timely reminder that despite a good few games over the last couple of weeks, we are a good few players short of a team that can safely see the season out in League 1. I really hope the manager merry go round isn't a distraction to what needs strengthening in the playing squad. I felt not starting Sercs and Lines was an error initially but neither really impressed when they came on which I think is a sign we don't really have the strength in depth we need and have benefited from in the past. Time to get busy on the phone (and nail down AJ and JB)

THD is only filling in on the wing and is naturally a left back, as he says himself. Hopefully a winger will be brought in this month.
