I followed the game and boycotted, is that alright with you? No not really why follow it if you are boycotting it ? Because I'm interested in seeing Rovers' progress in a holistic sense, the result is important in the context of the new manager etc. It's also the whole picture which means I'm boycotting. |

Northampton were awful and we were cruising without really getting out of second gear, then a poor bit of keeping and what a struggle, our midfield went very deep ,they went more direct and got at the fullbacks and we looked very ropey.
still a deserved win and in the next round.

From ntfc forum: Bristol Rovers were awful. Sadly we are beyond awful. ha ha I didn’t think we were awful. The game lacked quality in the middle third for us. Upson was carp, passing and shooting especially but also can’t tackle for toffee. Northampton were terrible at the back, Bonham should have easily kept out the long ranger. Not a great game but we are in the quarters. |
