I would play the following
Smith, LEDs, Parts (sure he could do left back for one game, Menyanese, Broadbent, Bennett, Sincs, Lines,Matthews, Payne and Nichols.
All could do with game time.
Not sure how much Hargreaves will influence things, but I would only have a few youngsters on the bench. Definitely Russe and probably Kilgour who is/was doing very well on loan in the National League and one from Walker, Bagdadi, Moore and maybe Andre Jnr. The rest would be first teamers, if we need them to come on late in the game.
With the prize money on offer we can't ignore this competition.
PS are there only 1 u-21 left in the southern draw? (Chelsea?).

Making 10 changes is kinda ignoring the competition, isn't it?

Like us to try and go as far as we can now to get as much money as possible to aid funds and keep the winning mentality. Oh and to rub JJs face in it

Making 10 changes is kinda ignoring the competition, isn't it? Don't think we're allowed to make so many, with no game this weekend we can play virtually a 1st team anyway, particularly as next Saturday's opponents, Accrington, have also got another game on Tuesday. Smith, Parts, Boardbent or Rollin, Sercs should all start other than that no major changes are needed

You can get fined for making more than 5 changes. Unless that has changed?

There are some exceptions to the five changes rule, now. If you've played a certain number of games, or if you're a keeper. So I think we might be able to bring in Smith, Lines, Bennett, Payne (maybe), and Nichols, without them counting towards the five.

I’d be interested to see a 4-4-2 with Mathews on the left and Bennet on the right to see if they could follow Cogs instructions that he wants his wingers to stay wide. They always drifted inside under DC but whether or not that was instructed by DC I don’t know. If they’re both capable of playing as wingers and do a job there then maybe we wouldn’t need to bring as many players in as it would appear at this point we do.

I hope they’re both capable of it both are decent players and it could mean Cogs can spend more time and money bringing in a striker , although I reckon players will have to leave to do that anyway. Can’t see any clubs being interested in Nichols or Payne to be honest so it might well be one of Mathews or Bennet to leave.
