I see that Man City U21's (at Rochdale) tonight, and Chelsea U21's (home v Posh) tomorrow both kick off at 7pm. The kids have to be tucked up in bed by 9pm? Not sure why it doesn't apply to Newcastle kids at Sunderland tonight though.

Making my I Follow debut tonight. How long before kick off will I be able to play the stream? Also is it worth watching with bbc radio commentary or is the sync miles apart? Cheers!

The commentary is usually the Radio Bristol one anyway and the sync is ok. I have not switched on yet but the stream is usually on about now although a non moving camera shot,

The radio commentary is already played over the video. I don’t think there’s an option to turn it off, other than to mute the sound?! From time to time it can be a little out of sync, both the crowd noise and commentry. The video will start at the earliest a couple of minutes before kick off.

Why rest players when we never played last Saturday ?; It sounds like a number are still suffering from the virus in the camp, and from other knocks and niggles. The game on Saturday is far more important and if a few more days rest means we can be stronger on Saturday then that's the right decision.

I wouldn't normally care about the result in this competition, but with GC trying to establish himself and re-motivate the squad, I think a win would be important.

Was anyone else at the game at Northampton what was then the auto windscreens cup back in 2000. For what was seemingly an unglamorous tie Northampton had Keith welch in goal and because we had a goal keeping crisis at the time, Brian parkin our goal keeping coach the time came out of retirement for one game only and did his bit between the sticks....
Amazingly they both kept clean sheets with remarkable performances, and we were treated to a welch v parkin penalty shootout right Infront of us....
And Parkin rocked.... We won....

Payne should have scored there, very casual. Did well to make the chance then didn't look like he wanted to actually score!

GGMI is correct, Fabian Spiess was on loan to us in 14/15 and played a few games around the Christmas period. When we won at Torquay on Boxing Day he gave away a bloomer of a goal which didn’t cost us fortunately. I guess that’s what GGMI was referring to. UTG! yeah I remember very windy day, gosling was like George best that day What, watered and shagging Miss World ?
