It’s surely the same as calling a Welshman a sheep shagger. And I’m sure Cardiff/Swansea supporters hear this chanted at them every week but don’t see headlines of racist chanting. And I’m sure sheep shagging is more crude than camel racing ? I do find that phrase quite funny. The English using that as a term of abuse. This one is quite historic. Look it up, the joke is on the English, the Welsh boys were taking the water massively creating that imagery for the English. It is true that the Welsh were the first ones to use the lining of a Sheep's stomach for a condom. The English further refined that idea by first taking it out of the Sheep.
