JCH had twenty or so minutes but why miss a chance to slate someone ... FFS ! Well if you bothered to read any of the thread, you'd see that I've been positive all game. I'm allowed to form an opinion & post about it on a performance that I saw, did you see it? b Don't worry though fella, why miss a chance to shut down free speech ffs Yes I saw it ... and you’re right everyone has the right to an opinion. That said we are way too quick on this forum to destroy our own players and this lad just needs a bit of time. Another way of looking at it was during his time on the pitch he got a decent shot in goal and had a chance with a header. Decent day all round. Anyway let’s not argue mate ... we have won so let’s enjoy it.

Massive chance to pull away at home to Shrewsbury next week. Lost 0-3 today and they've got a replay against Wolves midweek. Really need to build on today as it'll be tough to get points out of Sunderland. They've just spent £4m on Grigg!

I'm not sure he is fit at the moment - probably will be in time to play us!

On their forum one of the comments was "embarressing" we are a bigger club than them so if we lost I would have been the one that was embarressed

I think we could go on a run . Won’t be surprised if we beat Sunderland and get something at Pompey who are stuttering a little.
Challenge is the fact we have to go to a lot of the bottom teams who have already beaten us at home...some real scraps ahead.
Twenty three points hopefully should see us safe, 16 games to go still a lot to do.

Can Payne play against us next Saturday ? It's a difficult one with Payne as isn't he loaned back to Shrewsbury only so technically still our player. If he wasn't and played against us I could see him getting both barrels of Rovers Reject chants

This probably warrants a thread of it's own, but what would we do if we were GC, let him play as he's so cr@p or risk him actually turning up for a game at the Mem this season and acoring? Can Payne play v Wolves on Tuesday or is he cup tied for us/signed too late to play.

Can Payne play against us next Saturday ? AF has posted the ruling. Would probably be better if the Football League had the same rule as the Prem so you can't play against your parent club. It saves a potentially difficult decision being made by the club and also saves the player from a potential no win situation. (I think I'm right about the Prem?)

So why post this on Thursday evening "Coughlan boasted he knew the division inside and out and we end up with two reserves from Coventry if this is true ... the HoRs old club ... what a water take."?

Watched it all and apart from the last 10 minutes of the first half and the first 15 minutes of the second half, we were well on top! Could (should) have been 3, or 4, up before their goal! Reilly missed easier chances than the one he scored. Agogo had a great game in defensive midfield and seemed to allow Ollie Clarke to be more creative. Can't fault Nichols again, worked his socks off and two assists! Partington was also much more solid today. THD and Sercs starting to get a real understanding down the left and Clark-Harris looks to be a step-up from Payne. I'll put his silly behaviour towards the end down to exuberance and wanting to impress! All in all, cracking performance...... Probably took Tuesday on a stage? If we keep playing like that we'll definitely stay up!!
