Just seen Ogogo interview,love him already ,great attitude, big smile, and gonna be a great asset in the dressing room as well as star on pitch, be like having Ellis around again, next Gas legend?

While it was a great win, Southend fans are fuming. One fan calling it their worst performance in 50 years, another saying their worst of the season. Refuse to get carried away just yet. Yeah well they would say that wouldn't they! Not getting carried away but I think you have to give our lads a lot of credit for putting in another decent shift and performance and getting what was a crucial win. I didn't go myself but listened on the radio and it seemed to me they played like they did against the posh, coming out of the blocks with high energy / press and tempo in the first half. I don't believe we were able to do that because Southend were crap yesterday, it's more likely that the way we came at them put them on the back foot and the game plan worked. They had to change formation at half time to get a foot hold in the game but by then we had the lead and dug in well holding on for the win. |
