Don’t wanna out a downer on it, but I don’t think we’ve been that great.
Defence has looked strong and Ogogo in the middle is back to his Southend performance but we haven’t really threatened much.
Mind you neither have they.
But at this rate, who cares? More of the same if this is the case!

No doubt it was a pen. The ref was in a great position to give it. Well taken pen, lifted high into the net. we think it was deffo a pen and they think it was dodgy, isn't it funny how we see things different |

We’ve been far from great, hardly put any decent moves together and it’s been a crap game but we’re winning that’s the only thing that matters . UTG |

Great work rate first half. Midfield picking up the second ball well. Lockyer has come forward a couple of times and wasted the ball forward. He should just give and stay. JCH looking lively, Ogogo looking like a Kante style player. Sercombe had a great chance to whip in a first timer near the end but cut back and wasted it. Sercs needs to trust his first time cross if we are going to play him there.

GC wanted to make us hard to beat and frustrate the opposition. Both of which we have been doing. No need to play liquid football away to a team near the top. |

UTG We were never going to go away to fratton park and out play Pompey lets be honest so we're doing exactly what we should be doing, slowing the game down and making it a physical battle which we can come out on top. Got a slice of luck with the goal but I think we were due some anyway. Massive 45 minutes to stay strong and come away with something. COYB |
