See my previous posts for my view on this , glad we’re out. but people moan we havent got any money and when we get a chance turn their noses up at it. if the league wants b teams, we will get b teams its as simple as that. in the meantime im all for extra playing budget I’m not a sheep and I stand up for what I believe in , I’ve done my bit in talking with my feet.

Pal, please don't ignore that you've been caught out, admit you're wrong. Trust me, it'll feel better. You didn't call my post childish, you insinuated that I'm a child. I'm not, therefore it's an insult. But you're right, I did insult you back, after insulted me. For which I apologise, however you then carried on to call me a snowflake and then insinuate that I'm not good in bed (not that I have a wife btw). Do you not see how ironically, you're the childish one who's actually being toxic? Gasheads shouldn't be arguing and insulting each other. And it's all because I disagreed with you opinion that to proceeded to insult me. Great job. i apologise that i have an opinion and you disagree with it. You're really not very intelligent are you?

Genuine question for the boycotters. No judgements or condemnations but why is it a good result that we lost out on a potentially massive payday? Its not a great competition i agree and i certainly dont want B teams in the lower leagues but at the same time a six figure sum of money could be just what we need. Even if you didnt go to wembley wouldnt you still prefer the payday as a potential boost to next seasons budget? It's a good result because I did not want to be sat at home watching the final ( like thousands of other Gasheads ) on TV when my team is playing at Wembley.......simple We have made some decent money getting this far so we don't need a Wembley day out to split even more friends and family. Just getting to this stage of the competition has caused loads of arguments with everyone having different views. Under the old format this would have been a sell-out but tonight less than 5000 Gasheads bothered to turn up, that says it all.

I will carry on as well , anyone who attended any of these games are all part of the problem , if we all stood united maybe , just maybe we could have the competition set back to it’s original format. But no , people still turn out for this sh** , cowards !

Fair result tonight, it's games like this that shows the difference between side, the togetherness when they break, everyone on some note, it's what Rovers need to aspire to do.
Saturday more important though, a day out at Wembley would have been nice but league points are what matter the most now.

We've given a very good account of ourselves against a side whose wage bill is massive & have just paid £4m for a striker. Their extra class told in the end but we should take a lot of confidence from that performance. On to Scunthorpe & Gillingham hopefully no injuries picked up tonight & we can crack on with the most important job of staying in this league

FWIW I wasn't there tonight, wasn't boycotting it as such, but just can't be bothered to travel a fair distance from where I live to see a cup of little significance, I'll be at Scunthorpe though.

Well said.......if nobody went it would be most certainly changed back to how it was.......simple Problem now is we have a final with 2 "big" clubs and probably a decent crowd so the FA will think it has been a success and will keep the same format for next season.

The EFL dont give 2 flying monkeys about your boycott and neither will it deter them from their decisions. I dont support B teams but i do support bristol rovers.

I thought it was an entertaining battle but I'm just glad it's over.
Both were really up for it, but for me the persistence of Gassy finally wore down turdburger.

Name a better keeper in this league? Then name a better keeper we could afford? Then say why you don’t rate Bonham? 1. Allsop, Alnwick, Bywater, Chapman, Davies, Eastwood, Lawlor, Longergan, Maxwell, McLaughlin, McGee, O'Donnell, Oxley, Ruiter, Shea, Stech... to name a few. 2. Not saying we could afford better, doesn't make him good. 3. Bloke fumbles EVERYTHING. Lacks basic concentration. Distribution has largely been poor all season (improved recently tbf). Did you not see the Sunderland keepers fumbles tonight in what were horrible conditions for any keeper at any level?

He's just, as others above have suggested, an average L1 keeper at best and imo I wouldn't be throwing the kitchen sink to sign him. He's replaceable.

sercombe is sh1t. james clarke is sh1t. and bonham has had a mare. may slag craig off for their second but if bonham had caught it instead of parrying it the goal wouldnt have been on in the 1st place Blimey, if Bonham has caught that he’d be playing in the PL, not League 1. UTG!
