Embarrassing. And some of the slagging off of our own players is so f*cking irritating. Do people not realise the quality we’re playing against? Winds me up. If people want to slag players off they should go down the gate. This. Had an absolute muppet stood by me on the East Terrace who clearly sits at home watching MOTD and champs league. Got a kick out of criticising our players throughout and made a comment about how he could see why we are struggling. I’d rather the w**ker stayed at home as he never had a single good thing to say. The hints in the name ‘supporter’. Spending the whole time criticising our players is contrary to that. The context is we were playing a team who have invested our sum of fees over 10 years x2 just on a single player. We are always going to be up for a fight against teams like this |

No shame losing to that Sunderland side. A good first half from us. crappy times to concede and at 0-2 it was not going to happen. The big chance for us came with that free header not long after it went 0- 2.
Who missed is ? J.Clarke or Lockyer ? a bad miss. Lots of corners from us BUT i don't have much faith we can score from them.
Holmes -Dennis had a good match - good probing runs, crosses and a powerful drive unfortunately straight at the keeps. as did Locks, Craig and Bonham.
Here's to 3pts on Sat. UTG!

I guess you don't read much. I never called you a supporter. Why else would someone start throwing insults at someone else who posted facts, if they weren't offended? Another one I'm looking forward to hearing, or more in your case, coming up with something irrelevant/not actually relevant. Also i am failing to see any insults still. Genuine question for the boycotters. No judgements or condemnations but why is it a good result that we lost out on a potentially massive payday?
Its not a great competition i agree and i certainly dont want B teams in the lower leagues but at the same time a six figure sum of money could be just what we need.
Even if you didnt go to wembley wouldnt you still prefer the payday as a potential boost to next seasons budget?

Genuine question but does anyone actually honestly rate Bonham? I find it baffling that some on here believe it's pivotal we sign him on permanently, he's so average. Name a better keeper in this league? 😂😂😂😂 |

I'd be delighted if we signed Bonham, not only is he a decent keeper for L1 but the defence have confidence in him too which is crucial. After some of the dross we've had in goal over the last 4-5 years, he's an improvement for sure. Agree 100% with this but for some to suggest there’s no better keeper in L1 is plain silly. He’s a big improvement on the dross loans we’ve had and much better attitude and application that Smith who I can’t wait to see the back of. |

Yep as a club we made £200,000 out of this, money needed to keep us out of Administration if we went to wembley i saw qouted earlier that you get 100k for winning or 50k for runner up plus 45% of ticket sales. Thats not the type of money we can turn our noses up at |

Yeah he's a quality keeper. Thinks he's just become a decent keeper recently, I can't recall many wonder saves of late. Plus if he was a quality keeper he'd have been moved on in January! Although he's a better keeper than Sunderland's reserve keeper. Centre half is our big weakness it's just a pity we couldn't turn Broadbent into the next Steve Elliott. Not sure that centre half or goalkeeper us our weakness. The stats all season have told us where we're weak...up front. Maybe Bonham hasn't been making wonder saves because the team defends reasonably well. They're not perfect, of course, but their record in League 1 is pretty good and backs up the opinion that defending isn't our problem. |
