Oh I meant it all, with conviction. The mass migration of peoples in Europe in past periods from say 1900 (when media & information became much more accessible) which have been referred to in migration debates were actually basically Europeans (similar religions, aspirations, laws, ways of life, even language etc). The recent immigration from the Middle East contains totally different qualities to European ones, and that is my point. And yes, clearly murders have been committed by both sides as a result of this migration and mixture - it's in the news, isn't it ? And leaving Tony Blair aside for a moment, why are there still constant wars and rebellions in the Middle East? Sure, there were for centuries in Europe too, but finally we've knocked that on the head. One more point, If we ever finally leave the EU, can we please get closer to our relatives - the Commonwealth ? Europeans are our neighbours, but the Commonwealth is our family. The Middle East is way down the family tree. Do you have any figures to go with that? The 7/7 bombers, for example, were either British born of Pakistani decent, or Jamaican. Both Commonwealth nations and neither Middle East. Ah, that old chestnut! Figures ? - pah. There are some figures in the Brexit talks & arguments, and look where that's getting us...
Just like many (most?) forum posts, media reports, conversations etc there is often more to be gained from opinion based on one's views of the world around. Open eyes & ears = opinions. Arguers who are on the ropes usually resort to 'figures', because it's to try & turn around a losing argument or opinion. We all know what's going on, it's just that some people don't like it, and others think it's perfectly ok. In my opinion there's too much focus on low-importance minority interests*, and not enough on high-importance minority interests (eg homeless, poor, education standards & facilities, elderly, lonely , the sick...) . * Don't bother asking the obvious.

Is there a difference between preception and reality? For the individual, no. For the wider community, yes there can be.

Is it just me or is this deliberate baiting of each other getting tedious?
Time to draw a line and get back to the substance of the topic.

He started it I've managed to give up the Pavlovian response to some, you have proven your point. For the sake of other forum users, please let this go now or take it to PMs.

A friend of mine once said to me whilst watching him play in the quarters that he would one day play for England. I laughed it off at the time

For the sake of other forum users, please let this go now or take it to PMs. I would certainly welcome more civility and respect on this forum provided it applies to all. If you wanted to review my 1000 odd posts you will find my only 'unruly' behaviour is provoked by one individual and although I should rise above it I haven't been able to refrain. Happy to start afresh though.

I understood the stars element, I wasn't sure about the player association. I'm over 3,000 now, perhaps I should take a break 🤔

Stuart - We all know the problem is not where they come from, but the religion they follow. That wasn't the point being made. Stu if your referencing the post by e4 then yes that religion is mentioned on the 2nd line in brackets i'm suprised you missed it. Not aimed at you but i can never work out why people never seem to digest a post and seem to miss these things yest may be in brackets but it's there

Can't quite work out why he said (para): "subscribe to PewDiePie" before going in. Mental. Always live streaming it makes it even more sick. Truly horrific act. Apparently pewedipie was the most watched you tube channel for years but was knocked off of top spot by an asian music channel hence subscribe
