Cogs has certainly made some poor substitutions in his time so far and we’ve also taken part in some very poor football matches. But the bloke has got results so it’s hard to knock him to be honest. From four points adrift to 5 points clear in 3 months is some going. UTG

GC absolutely got off the hook today. Ridiculous going one up front with 4 CMs and one winger, left us inviting the pressure on and the writing was on the wall for the equaliser. Equally ridiculous was taking off our one CM (ollie) that hadn’t been booked for Sinclair, which also saw us sit even more deep. Thank f**k for JCH. I cannot for the life of me understand why you are criticising GC for taking off Ollie. Didn't you hear or read GG's after match interview where he addressed this very subject? This is not word for word, but the essence was "I was desperate to keep Ollie on. I kept telling him 5 more minutes, 5 more minutes, but in the end he just collapsed. He had been ill all week and had lost weight. He just couldn't go on....." Also, didn't you notice that Ollie more or less collapsed in their penalty area just before he was taken off? What was GC meant to do, keep a shot - through player on the pitch, one unable to run or make a tackle? As others have said, GC put out a team that ground out a result and moved us 3 points closer to the line. After the season's start, what the frig more do you expect?

Fortunately there’s quite a few poor teams in league one agreed, the poorest team in the division showed us how to pass the ball yesterday though Lucky we got jch else we would be in their league position now The poorest team in the league had 2 midfielders I would love us to sign for next season in Scannel and Payne. They ran the show. I don't think they were the worst team in the league by a stretch, just the poorest managed team. I went to work at Temple Meads after the game, and at about 7.30 pm one of their directors came onto the station to catch the train back oop North. I had had a chat with him for a couple of minutes and I told him I didn't understand why they were in some much trouble given how well they had played, and how good some of their players were. He replied that he wasn't surprised at their predicament and that it was a mistake for any club to have 4 managers in one season. He was very philosophical about the whole thing and said the bigger picture was to make sure one disastrous season was a rare thing and to push on the following year and gain success. Given the size of the club and their supporter numbers, I know they sell ridiculously cheap season tickets, I can see them smashing league 2 next season. I don't think they'll be down for long.
