And there goes the thought of bolognese for dinner tonight. straight to the top of the list. Impressive list from Scooby. Motorhead I saw late on in Bristol. My ears normally ringing after a gig for a day or so but this one left me hard of hearing for almost a week. Left the feedback ringing at the end full pelt. After I saw Motorhead one time in the late 1990's people in work had to cover my phone for two days cos I couldn't hear it ring over the ringing that the concert left me with. Pretty sure they were promoting their Everything Louder Than Everyone Else thing at the time.

Blur The Cure Guns and Roses Manic Street Preachers The La's Space The Hives The Cramps Supergrass Yeah yeah yeahs Cast Bon Jovi Franz Ferdinand Jet Kaiser Chiefs Carter USM Stereophonics Bluetones
Plus a LOT of other bands no one will have heard of.
In the 90s a group of us used to go to a gig once a month. We would try to see up and coming bands so a lot of bands we saw would have been before most people would have heard of them.
As a result we saw a lot of bands who were great, but never made it!

The Granary in Bristol was a good place to see rock and metal groups. My Brothers favourite haunt. I still recall as a teenager standing near the front underneath the balcony as it creaked, groaned and swayed thinking any minute now it's all gonna come down and I'm gonna be crushed to death underneath 100 watered up metalheads. Good days.

Crikey, I almost forgot. A couple of years ago me and Mrs Scoobydoo went to the Trout Tavern in Keynsham to listen to our very own forum member Midsomer Murderer's band playing their punk gig.

I went because my wife likes him. Maybe you should stop being so blinkered? Do you not understand that sometimes we do things to please our other halves? Life is not Black & White. Open your eyes, open your mind, or keep your personal digs to yourself.

Now, what I could do is take the water out of Germans, their musical tastes, culture etc as you did about my late wife's. But no, I think I will enjoy the moment of thinking of you sitting through the banality of an Ed Sheeran event.

We don't moderate this area as we always assume people can moderate themselves and am not doing so now but.....
I really cant be arsed to decide he rights and wrongs here, but it would be nice if we could draw a line under it and move on to actually talk about the OP of the threads being discussed.
No one is coming out of this looking good at the moment.

It's bloody obvious where all the nastiness originates from. The perpetrator won't acknowledge it himself so someone else needs to.
