The Anarchy Tour '76 Sex Pistols, The Clash, Johnny Thunder and the Heartbreakers. Many dates cancelled after the Bill Grundy interview, but managed to catch up with them in Plymouth.

Saw Snoop Dogg in Bristol a few years back, whole room was full of pipe smoking young hipsters, Snoop was 2 hours late and I ended getting so watered in the meantime I can hardly remember it!

Never saw the Sex Pistols first time round, but finally caught up with them at Finsbury Park in 1996. Filthy Lucre tour. Was my favourite gig.

I think I have figured out why you all support Rovers.......you were all on drugs when you were younger!
I don't even have that excuse.

Anyone got any decent gigs lined-up? My eight year old has somehow got into Queen and there are a few Queen Tribute bands playing in Frankfurt soon. I think he wants me to take him to one of those. Rammstein will be in town on Saturday, Nobby. Will you be taking your mother in law to that one? Some friends of mine saw them in Milton Keynes last Saturday, and were blown away by their stage act. They`re touring again next summer. Quite fancy going to see them in Warsaw, a city I`ve never visited. To me, their latest release is their best yet.

No, that is a bit heavy for me. I'm a soul, funk boy.

Just saw Kiss at the NIA Birmingham - awesome show. But for a list of headliners I have seen please see below:-
AC/DC Aerosmith Alice Cooper Tori Amos Black Sabbath Pat Benatar Boomtown Rats Bob Catley The Cult Deep Purple Def Leppard Dio Electric Sun (Uli John Roth) Steve Gibbons Band Gillan Heart Hawkwind Hard Rain Heaven and Hell Steve Hillage Glen Hughes Judas Priest Kiss Kittie Kid Creole and the Coconuts Lynyrd Skynyrd Magnum Motorhead Alanis Morrissette MSG Nickelback Nightwish Robert Plant Sinead O'Connor John Otway Queen Rainbow Rush Saints Scorpions Saxon Status Quo Steeleye Span Thin Lizzy Thunder Robin Trower Twisted Sister UFO Uriah Heep Whitesnake Van Halen
Not including festivals where I saw the likes of Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Manic Street Preachers, Stereophonics, Elvis Costello, The Donnas, David Gray, Ruby Turner, Big Country, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.
I've probably missed a few but I'm getting old.

Bowie three times, Hammersmith for the Ziggy tour, Empire pool Wembley for the Station to Station tour,Milton Keynes for the Serious Moonlight tour. Pink Floyd at London docks U2 at the Millenium, very disappointed Black Sabbeth at Hammersmith without Ozzy, still brilliant, ears ringing all the way home. The Blizzard of Oz, with Ozzy at the Colsten Hall ACDC at Donnington along with Whitesnake Slade at the Colsten Hall in their Prime. Echo and the Bunnymen with James at the Colsten Hall a couple of years ago. The Who Down Traston

My early gigs:
Slade at the Colston Hall, supported by Suzi Quatro and Thin Lizzy!
The Specials in their early days in Coventry.
Likewise for UB40 and Dexy's Midnight Runners in Birmingham.
Budgie at Warwick University for some eardrum shattering. Not many will remember them but they were a great heavy band with a good reputation.
Nazareth
The Damned
The Clash
Tom Robinson Band
The Cortinas, Bristol's own punk band
Dave Edmunds
Nick Lowe
Elvis Costello
The Be Stiff tour
Dr. Feelgood
And loads of others since, but those gigs from the ages of 15-20 were special.

My Brothers favourite haunt. I joined, you had to be a member when the Granary first opened. Some hell raising nights in there, but Juicy Lucy topped the lot. The granary is the one place i truly miss , i recall never laugh hysterically or have a coughing fit or you were out, plastic feking beer glasses ,one of the few clubs you cold visit drink water all night and come out stoned, led to some very interesting ride home on the old motorbike. resin fer a quid lol
