Does weather matter when you're deep sea diving? I think you’re getting confused with muff diving? That’s definitely an all weather sport. You can suffocate doing both.

If the weather is bad I can see how deep sea fishing could quickly become deep sea diving! A friend of mine once chartered a boat to go fishing in the Bristol channel.... Found the spot they wanted to fish and threw the anchor over the side.... Problem was that the rope was to short and the boat went down with the anchor, they had to be saved by to good folk of the RNLI.... true story that.... GTFOOH!

Are you saying Wael told you this? Or you heard it from another club member? Does it contradict anything you know or have been told? No, not at all. Actually just confirms it further to be honest. Essentially the consortium who are looking to buy the club are only willing to do so if the ground at the fruit market comes as part of the deal. So the deal has to be all but confirmed to purchase the land before the purchase of the club can happen.. Hope that makes sense?! Reminds me of the situation when Wael and co took over with the UWE.... As soon as that went south things basically began to unravel. From what I can gather the deal to purchase the club this time around will only happen once the particulars of the Fruit Market deal are confirmed and therefore there is no room for things to collapse (in theory!). As I said previously, the alarm bells are ringing a little as it strikes me that these guys are very much in it for personal gain... But unless anyone knows of a billionaire gashead with money to burn, I guess we have to accept that whomever purchases this club is not going to do so if it means losing millions of their own money each year.

I've no problem with individuals making money from a profitable football club. Quite an important word in that sentence though.

A planned chat with the media is something totally different I would say. In the last week on this thread we have had 4 newbies come on here claiming inside knowledge with no previous history of talking about rovers before. We now have someone on here claiming to have first hand info from our owner who isn’t even in the country. If there was an imminent deal to be done I would expect him to be in the country with his lawyers “getting it done” to quote our famous PM. So I would say that any info we get on here about right now is probably wide of the mark. It’s also interesting that Knowall, UTG12, GI have also been astonishingly quiet over the past few weeks. Either their NDAs have kicked in or there really is nothing to say. Why does everything and everyone get misquoted here? I have just read back the last 4 pages and nowhere does BIWISIT hint it was Wael or even a club employee that his info came from. He simply says “this chap is normally spot on”. Yes, what he said! I have never once said it was Wael.. and to clarify, it most certainly is not! Obviously do not want to say too much as do not want to get my friend in trouble, but I will say that he is a part time employee of the club and has been for man many years. He has direct access to the dressing room via his role within the club. As he is part time he also has a secondary job and that is how I know him, we work together (sort of) in his second job's capacity. I have been told many things over the years as you might expect, some I have shared on here and some I have not (some have been incredibly personal to those involved and had no place in a public domain) but what they all have in common is that sooner or later they come to fruition. If at any point that stopped being the case and I started to get the sent of BS, I would simply stop listening and certainly stop passing on. As I said from the outset, please do take or leave this information. I too have no time for the 'I know something, but I can't say what it is or how I know' mob who frequent this thread and that is the main reason I actually do say when I have what I believe to be genuine news. I do not do so to show off, I do so as I firmly believe that the fan-base of any club have the right to know what is going on at the heart of it. Simple as that really.
