I believe the number 19 will get you from Kingswood to the Mall Not any more, the 19 only goes to Parkway. Then goes to Cribbs bus station, does it go there empty? (Serious question)

Compare how you park now to when we first arrived at the Mem. Use to be able to park 5 mins away after 1400. I still park 10 mins walk away, or 5 mins run if I leave my ticket in the car!

Unfortunately, i feel that the fact many of us can drive to The Mem is going to become less and less of a factor as time goes by. There will be more and more resident parking zones, fewer spaces and endless other restrictions introduces as the modern World hates the car. Whether our future lies at The Mem, The Fruitmarket or anywhere else it will likely be the case you will be getting there by train, bus, park n ride or those infuriating little scooters that get dumped in the middle of the pavement. When we're all driving around in electric cars by the time the FM is built then the present pollution arguments will bite the dust.

Not the metro bus the number 1 that goes from broomhill to the mall It looks like Google Maps is confusing it with No 2 bus but it's stills a 1 hr 5 mins journey if it runs to the timetable. The train journey is probably less than half of that.

I always say it, the area can barely handle an 8k crowd plus non football traffic let alone 15k after an expansion. It would be a sh*tshow. Unless you’re lucky enough to park inside the grounds of the stadium that is. In which case you’ll likely not know the struggle anytime after 1pm on a decent crowd afternoon.

Just can't see the Fruit Market stadium would be larger than the one at Ashton, not when there is going to be so much building going on at the site. You’ve got boring now

I currently walk from temple meads to the mem a number of times a season. Is that relevant? No. I do it every Saturday home game, I love the walk and the sights.

Might be a crazy idea and I'm aware this is me now getting ahead of myself! But, there will likely be a consultation during any potential build where supporters can raise issues such as transport etc. There weren't buses to the Mall before it was built.. The 75 has always ran to Cribbs I used to live in Patchway back in mid 80s and used to catch the 75 from Coniston Road to Gateway (now Asda) if we couldn't be arsed to walk Ok, my point was that there are now a few buses that go to the mall from other areas.

I can't see the club just letting fan numbers dwindle at the Mem, they'd have to do something if cars were banned from parking near the stadium. Although perhaps as electric replaces ICE cars anti car crusade will diminish.

I remember once upon a time the club were looking into a microbrewery to generate non match day and match day revenue. I always thought this was a good idea given how much gasheads like a beer or two. Would be really good if they could incorporate this into whatever is planned at the fruit market.

Try getting a bus from Kingswood to the Mall. I believe the number 19 will get you from Kingswood to the Mall You need to take 2 buses, No, 7 into the Centre, and then the Number 75 to Cribbs. In a little over an hour and a half. Convenient?

In fairness, I've planned a Bus Route to Temple Meads. 20 Minute Walk to the nearest Bus Stop, Bus into Queen Square, then another Bus to Temple Meads. Even if a Bus was waiting for me at each stop and we left the second I stepped aboard, that's an hour's journey, and the chances of that being the case is zero. So as it stands I'm looking at an hour and a half journey at best. And then I need to do exactly the same to get home. 3 hours travel? I guess it's not too bad getting home at 6.30 - 7pm on a Saturday (as opposed to currently getting home at 5.15pm), but getting home 11.30 - 12pm on a weekday evening game? I don't think so.
And where are these extra buses coming from? Just interested.

If there is an unmet demand for transport from north Bristol to the fruit market then match day buses, either public or private, will run.
I get the anxiety of not knowing how it will work, but it's a relatively easily solved problem (compared to building a new stadium!)

Getting the train from TM to whiteladies on friday, I realised how close it goes to current and old gas grounds. Stops at Stapleton rd and then Montpellier. Trains intO TM also from Abbey Wood. Surely there will be lots of options in 6-9 years time. Let’s not panic yet!!

If only we had a very large Mayflower Mk II we could stick all the modern puritans on and say bon voyage.

As well as the plans for the stadium the club needs to look at how fans from N Bristol are going to travel to it. Although how fans travel to the ground may well have to be part of the plans.
