It's a Courtship Application widely used by the LBGTQ+ Community. Ah, I now see why Marshy knew about it. Can't believe you think Marshy is a bender, Baggy maybe

In summary, we own nothing, have no bids for anything, have no firm plans laid out but we are looking at options! I assumed that was the case anyway! Otherwise what are they doing? Moving on until news to actually get excited about is announced!

Nevermind at least everyone will still be optimistic about the club if JCH gets sold on deadline day! #tacticalrelease

The money is still there to be used around the area Temple Meads Arena Island etc, I hope no shady deals are being made, so there could be so truth behind funding and helping the travellers settle around that area. Unless we make a bit of noise about favouritism and nip it in the bud

O dear, the morally superior are live and well; fortunately, how l feel, and decide to narrate, currently at least, is a matter for me and no one else, long may that continue. The point in question, is in my opinion, taking too much notice of the annual Wael & Twentyman radio address to the faithful, can be rather full hardy. Thinking your can build a twenty thousand seat stadium on the Fruit Market, a site where the surrounding area has no infrastructure to support a massive influx of vehicles, is strange at best and will be a very challenging discussion with Bristol City Council. Most sensible post I have read. Agree entirely. Good intentions do not mean the outcome will be definite and there are so many other questions that this site raises. The biggest shareholder of the site has been quoted, on BBC points west, that an offer was made 3 months ago and rejected and letters were sent to employees, to say that nothing was changing and then added, certainly not in the next 2 years. Make if that what you will. I also don’t understand why people think it would be a useful use of funds, to seek planning permission on someone else’s property. My default position is locked in, I will believe it when sat in it, watching a league game. No, it can be a Cup game as well, an early season EFL Cup game will be ok!😉 UTG!

The funniest part is that they've made up an entire scenario and have then proceeded to complain about the scenario. No doubt it's sending their forum mad. The obsession grows.

Think everyone had heard the rumour already. The first thing Wael said, is you have probably heard about it already. Doubt you have signed it, so who ever told you, had broken or already!! Plus he didn't go into details really, so didn't really say anything that was our there already. I have just read the transcript of the interview, as already mentioned he talks about several possible sites and that they are working with Bristol City Council on pre-planning work for a site.
Easy to read too much or too little into those words, I remain in the glass half-full camp on this one - UTG
I wouldn't say it sounds like we are working with BCC. Wael stated they are being cooperative, which could be anything from "we sent off for paperwork and they sent it back" Explicitly stating: Honestly too me doesn't sound like there's too much hand in hand going on

Apparently lots of complaints about recent concerts at Ashton - Muse had the highest number as they were loud and out of tune. Council don't want to ban concerts there until they have a credible alternative as they feel it will stir up the Arena argument again and put heat back on YTL who do a good trip to Malaysia. Hence helping Rovers using the grant money to build 20,000 venue suitable for concerts in non-residential area near to original planned site. Once Stadium is built all concerts at Ashton will be banned.

I heard Marvin is sponsoring our away kits, which is why they had to go back, to be reprinted with his face on them.

There’s your feasibility for all of those questioning why building another stadium in an area of what will be high desirability will be. Question is how do we manage to protect or grow the pitch. Especially if events happen during the season which you can imagine the council would expect if this is another option to tick the arena box.
