You're obviously completely in the know- how did you find out about it all out of interest? Good post, can guarantee you will be none the wiser with any answer to your question. You expect an answer? I always thought you came across as a switched on poster,

The Wael fans boys can't see he's only in for himself, let's hope he hasn't screwed up the deal by going public. I fear he's totally out of his depth, as this sounds like a massive development scheme not just messing about building a stadium and hotel at the UWE. The most sensible post yet. There is an NDA but he just decided to go rogue. Don't know how the Post got the story but just hope it hasn't been screwed. It's been suggested that Wael wasn't involved in the discussions re this consortium and the fruit market site. Therefore it follows that if wasn't involved in the negotiations he would not have signed any NDA because, quite simply he wasn't involved. it therefore follows that Wael hasn't actually done anything wrong. Perhaps he heard some rumours from a 3rd party, and decided to talk some bollocks when on GT's Saturday show. The Evil have now run a fairly vague article about consortiums etc, but they clearly don't know much but probably think they have to get in on the act. Some basic info could have come from any of 100 different sources; perhaps someone in the planning dept has got a loose tongue or got treated to a skinful by a hopeful hack. Whatever it is, I doubt this tittle tattle bollocks is really going to scupper the deal if the parties are really serious.

Then again a board mod posted this earlier on this thread:
"Apparently some heavies involved in this are none to pleased, even though it’s a BP article and are flying in to make or break the deal...There are even suggestions Wael should leave the country should it go wrong.
Must be serious. From an inside source"
I assume he was being genuine and not posting it in jest?

Yes because all serious and above board business deals end with someone needing to leave the country for their own safety!

I find it amazing how Wael talks about the Fruit market on Saturday, there are pages of mixed reaction and speculation on here and then today the BP print an ‘exclusive’ that gives NO substantiated facts and just replays some of the comments made on here by various posters claiming to be ITK... is it not obvious that they’ve done their usual of just reading the forums and social media, looked on companies house and land registry for a bit of info and then made up this ‘exclusive’ ??
I have no knowledge one way or another but the one thing I have learned in my 40 years supporting the gas is that the BP only prints about 10% truth and the rest pure speculation when it comes to stories like this....

To be fair Alistair Durden of the BBC tweeted that his understanding was that the offer was made by a 3rd party. No doubt that info was leaked to him by Hamer etc. etc.
