I'm about to start a new thread for people who actually know something and are prepared to share with us all.

I'm not expecting quite so many pages.

I'll go first. For me the post lacked credibility when i read Wael should leave the country if things go wrong. Sounds like it's written by a 5 year old. I find it amusing that the same group of posters who for months and months have been saying Wael should tell us what's going and stop hiding behind NDAs and confidentiality agreements, and have mocked those that have said there might be a reason they are in place, are now the ones shouting for his head because he did exactly what they asked. You can't have it both ways. The problem is there are so many bullshitters on here who claim to be in the know, it's difficult to separate the lies from the truth. The one positive thing is at least things are coming to a head one way or another.

If Wael is such a problem why don't this so say bloody consortium, front up, buy the club and take it off his hands.
They can then tell us they will build a new ground and all will be rosy again.
That is until two or three years down the line when we are still stuck at the Mem.
By the way, I thought it was only the government who could kick somebody out of the country, not an unnamed consortium from wherever they be!

I'm not pro or anti Wael but my take on this is that there probably is a consortium - whether they are just investing or taking over is to be seen and they probably do have people flying in (although if they're a UK based consortium where are they all flying from?) - but whether it is to 'save' the deal or not is again up for debate. They could just be coming in to continue negotiations.  The last bit I expect is just a personal throwaway comment by your source.

Wow, now that would be an escalation.

I wonder what sort of people are potentially buying this football club, if threats are being handed out to those they are actually acquiring the club from? Quite unnecessary to mention anything of the sort in my view, wether you believe it to be gospel or not.

Perhaps it's not a threat to intimidate Wael but a warning for his safety. Remember the backlash against someone who crossed the city in recent years?
