Evans has signed a 3 years contract, it'll take a minor miracle to even start any work on a new stadium let alone him play in it.
Barton seemed content at Fleetwood in the past so linking stadium plans to him signing a long term contract is just living in hope. He's probably just content to have Wael's full support

It's probably already been said but I wonder if he'll move his family down this way, must be a hell of a drain driving back up Noth all the time.

As half of our team & back room staff appear to all come from the Merseyside area it might be worth them investing in a people carrier & share the driving.

I think Joey has mentioned before that he doesn't do much of the driving, he does sometimes travel with some of the backroom staff.

Expect more delays and procrastination. Expect more negative, repetitive drivel. Aka realism rather than fantasyland.

Expect more negative, repetitive drivel. Aka realism rather than fantasyland. There is a quote that comes to mind whenever I think of supporting Bristol Rovers or dreaming about a new stadium;
'Never give up on something that you can’t go a day without thinking about'.
I've followed Rovers for nearly 50 years and truly believe we are at a significant crossroad. The next few days will decide our direction and possibly lay the foundations for the next generation and the next 50 years.

... or somebody will just post another update from Conygar Investments stating the exclusivity period has now been extended for a further period or, worse still, talks have now come to an end without an agreement being reached.

Perhaps when Wael puts his cunning plans into action and starts building all those houses on The Quarters we could find a chocolate factory playing field in the Midlands and train there - would even out the driving for both the south and northern based players and staff.😁

Isn't it Tuesday that the investment company have to decide what their plans are for the FM site. Hope we haven't passed on this opportunity, if we had a chance to be involved.

Putting 2+2 together and making 568. I think you're probably right. It was before the Blackpool game on the radio - an educated guess 😉

When was the last time Wael spoke about the new stadium plans, anyone know? 3rd august 2019? He might not be able to talk about it, until things are signed or we decide not to do it. He has talked about the club needing to improve the facilities etc, without giving details. I don't think he will want to continue writing off millions of debts, every few years. So I expect we are working behind the scenes, even if they can't talk about it.
