I have a diesel which is not a 4x4 and old by any means, it's just the run of the mill car. Not sure how they've worked the emissions out as I can drive in other cities with a congestion charge with no charge ie Bath Yet I have to pay in Bristol and Birmingham. IMO it's just another b******t tax Based on Nox emissions which are particularly nasty health wise, euro 4 petrol 2006 onwards and euro 6 diesel 2016 onwards have the same Nox limits. Agree another motoring tax that will eventually turn into a congestion tax when we're all driving electric cars. The irony is the government encouraged everyone to go out buy Diesels as they were more economical, yet were the ones paying for their bulls up

Next thing is electric car user will be told they can only drive their cars on alternative days of the week!

They can all plug them but their own smart meters will decide when, or even whether, they can be charged. Unless we somehow build half a dozen new nuclear power stations by 2030 then there's no way the electric grid will cope.

Can't even park outside your own house let alone plug your car in.

Electric vehicles are the next Diesel-gate.
There is not enough lithium in the ground to cope with demand for phones, power tools, laptops, let alone cars.
Hydrogen is the way forward.
Hydrogen cars are proven and have only water vapour coming out of the back. No planned infrastructure because most governments know they can’t find a way to tax it.
Soap box put back in the cupboard 😄

I think in 50 years we have had. Redevelop Eastville Mangotsfield Bradley Stoke Avonmouth Redevelop Mem UWE Rumour re Fruit Market. Any missed? Wasn't Rolls Royce Filton mentioned at one point or was that just fan gossip we've had that many false starts and ideas it's hard to keep track. That was only ever talked out by supporters.
Shame, as it is a really good site, similar in many ways to the UWE site (which was also a really good site).

I’m sure I can remember in the early 80’s a stadium being talked about at Hambrook, where we had our training ground at the time.

Just imagine if forums existed as they do now since we left eastville. This thread would be well into 5 figures of pages.

This will never happen as the real estate experts on this forum have clearly stated, there's no financial return to be made on developing your own ground. The only financially sound route is to sell your own stadium and then a kindly investor comes along to build you a new stadium, simple
