Along with Rob McElhenney. ESPN will be broadcasting Wrexham's FA Cup Qualifying match live in America on Saturday, such is their growing popularity over there. That's madness! I've never watched an NFL game before never had any interest. However I did watch the Packers and Giants game at the Spurs ground on the tv at the weekend and really enjoyed it. It was more out of curiosity about how they changed the ground from a Premier league pitch to a NFL pitch and try and understand the hype. I am an English sports fan watching an American game for the first time properly. Good help the Americans who watch the beautiful game for the first time in a FA cup game at Wrexham!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm guessing its not going to be quite the same experience that I had on Sunday.

The Tottenham Hotspur stadium has a retractable grass football pitch, and underneath is the NFL surface.
Two separate pitches. Mindblowing.

If Wrexham do get pp in November, then they'll probably be starting work on the new stand before we've even heard if Congyer Inv. are still proceeding with the FM development. Didn't Ryan Gosling only become their owner a couple of years ago? I have to admire your eternal optimism about Congyer and The Fruit Bat Arena but for your own sanity give it up mate. I don't mean to be rude but honestly there's no Santa Claus either Next you will telling us there's no such thing as the tooth fairy and the Easter bunny 🤔😉😂

Welcome to Wrexham debuted on FX in August. The show received a 97% audience score & was immediately greenlit for season two. The club probably made good money on the deal: ~$400k per hour of content + 8-part series = ~$3.2m in revenue Social accounts have exploded: Twitter: 45k to 209k (+364%) Instagram: 27k to 208k (+670%) TikTok: 0 to 459k Wrexham has signed kit sponsorship deals with several companies: • TikTok • Expedia • Vistaprint • Aviation American Gin And the number of fans buying season tickets has nearly tripled: 2019: 2,609 2021: 5,892 2022: 6,820

The dreaded MK Dons do have a great stadium, okay it does'nt have alot of character etc, but it's impressive.
I wonder if by attending our 0 1 victory,WAQ will be prompted to actually communicate to Rovers fans about what may well be another 'new stadium ' flop.
They say if we were to go up to the 2nd tier we need a new stadium to stay there. I actually think,if Joe were to stay we would have a chance of establishing ourselves in that division.Thing is,other FCs would come sniffing to take our Manager.
So I reckon,as a new stadium seems to be becoming 'forever' a dream, our best chance of 2nd (I hav'nt forgotten the small matter of getting there first 🙂) tier sustainability is 'our Joe'.
There are reasons he may stay for quite a few years.🤞
Wael has been brilliant for Rovers,eg,he wa sc clever enough to hire Joe and give him much control. Then there's the Quarters! The Rovers are in good shape.
Though I'm afraid to say Wael has failed regarding a new stadium.

The Master plan for MK was always that they would have a large stadium and it was first doscussed in 1967. the land was made available in Bletchley. it took until 2000 for the idea to be taken forward and in 2005 ground was broken for the project. The first game was played in 2007. So at just over 3 years the fruit market would be ahead of plan if it progressed now

There must be some news on this by now..
It must have been a few days since we have demanded news 😁
Plus, I can't believe this is off the first page

Given up hope.
Real Shame, but I can't see a stadium ever being built. Ultimately we are never going to next level.

Went to Notts County recently.Do hope they get back into the EFL.All seater stadium there is the business. With the other Bristol team losing at home yet again tonight (and a red card) and all the clubs below them having games in hand-some as many as three- we could well be playing them next season. I'd be happy for us to at least do something with the South Tent but totally given up now.The UWE support group had ideas of Web Cams so we could see the progress of our new stadium being built..Seems a long time ago now.Would be nice to know if there are any plans but in reality at 77,I accept it won't happen for me.I always like to visit new stadiums and many in non-league have really showed that clubs unlike us ,cannot stand still if they are to regain, achieve or retain their league status.

Can we rename this the Lazarus thread as it refuses to die and keeps being resurrected. 😉

Think I'd sooner be an L1 side playing at the Mem, than a non league side playing in a decent stadium!

Exactly! It’s only been 40 odd yrs 🙄 We could have yet another problem.i read somewhere recently that a plan has been put forward to the efl that any club promoted to the championship must meet ground and facilities approval.if that happens we have no chance with our tented village
