Could be Crazy Golf, swings and a slider Am I the only one that once going outside of Bristol was shocked to find that everywhere else in the country it’s a “slide” and we are the only ones to put an R on the end? A bit like saying you are “smoothing” a pet, which also gets you a look as people think you are going to flatten it instead of stroke it 🤣 On a recent trip back Home my kids were invited to smooth the Cats. They thought it was he funniest thing ever. They laugh like drains every time they recount the story. They also pull me up on the Cheers Drive , when I get off an Auckland Bus…maybe the missing R ended up on the end of Slide.

Think I've mentioned it before, somewhere, and using some rough maths, for me to park at Bristol Parkway costs £4 for the day. Without Cup Games that's 23 home games costing £92. Train costs from Parkway to Temple Meads, and back, £8.80, 23 games, that's £202. So to get to the FM, and back, by train, that's pretty much £300, every season, on top of a Season Ticket. So unless I can drive to the Ground, park up for free, like I can do now, I won't be going. Don't know where yiu live but catch a bus for £3-50:return in bristol that is

A pitch is something you play football on... to bring it back on topic (a hazelnut in every bite... or is that squirrel sh*t?)

Pitch an idea or pitch of a roof for example. One meaning is also "to fall heavily forward" So im guessing our "will the snow pitch" may come from is it falling heavy enough to cover the ground. (?)

Drive along the ring road take the bus from brislington park and ride to temple meads not to far to walk from there

Regardless, you'd hope that with Bristol really targeting reducing traffic they'd be some sort of football or bus supporters ticket. Meanwhile FGRs new ground will be next to the motorway with everyone driving which is what I thought he was against...... unless he's paid for 1/2 FM. I'll just check to see if he's planned to install airship stops in Nailsworth and FM

We luck out and start attracting 15k supporters. I'd imagine most, unless they live nearby, will be using the train system. Can you imagine the chaos at Temple Meads as thousands descend on the place, along with several thousand being away fans, say Millwall?

Love how this has turned is, how does one person get to a new ground which will probably never exist, in a way that won’t inconvenience them too much?! 🤣

I really don't mind where we end up playing so long as we end up playing somewhere that is fit for purpose and generates much needed income for us.
