What a missed opportunity!
Gas at home, first game of season, plenty of optimism......then 2pm team announced..
Jaakkola 6.5 marked down for some poor kicking.
Little 6.5 we will miss our only right winger.
Davies 6.5 ok.
Craig 7 if he defended line at end well done.
Leahy 5.5 disaster waiting to happen.
Upson 6 some ok touches.
Ogogo 5.5 poor.
Sercombe 5 poor. Again.
Clarke 5.5 poor from skip.
Nichols 3.5 why!?
Adeboyejo 7.5 m o m if there's one it has to be him... Unlucky hit post shot.
Subs:Hare 6 too often beaten by matey to get to bye line.
Clarke-Harris 7 added some bulk and helped focus attack.
Bennett 6 too little, too late but had some time to make no impact.
Crowd 6 lack lustre.
Ref 5.5 got so much wrong it kinda evened out.
Wycombe 5.5 god I hope we aren't as poor as them and end up above the cheating gits.

Jaakola 5 Little Craig 7 Davies6 Leahy 5 Agogo 3 Upson 4 Clarke 5 Sercombe 6 Nicholls 2 Adebayejo 7 Hare 6 Clarke harris 6 Coughlan 2 We were at home for heavens sake why play 3 defensive midfielders and then put Nicholls in the side.it was a frightened team selection aimed at not losing.as for the after match comments that they played well if that is playing well I dread to see them play poorly.there was little or no creativity very few passes on the ground movement was pedestrian then to add insult to injury he brings a winger on with little time to do anything.this is very reminiscent of Ian Atkins 2nd season in every way and if it continues the manager will suffer the same fate |

Jaakkola 6.5 a couple of decent saves in difficult conditions Little n.o.l.e Davies 7.5 MoM a strong display Craig 7 the usual game from Mr Reliable him and Davies look to be forming a decent partnership Leahy 6 not a very convincing game. Upson 5.5 the best (or the least worst) of a poor midfield Ogogo 4.5 never in the game Sercombe 5 disappointing,our most creative midfield player created very little. Clarke 4 awful, I cant remember a worse game from Olly Nichols 4 words fail me! Adeboyejo 6.5 good game with little service, put in a good shift. Subs:Hare 6 slotted in ok but gave his man a bit too much space Clarke-Harris 5 good to see him back but understandably very rusty Bennett n.o.l.e Crowd 6 quiet, nothing much to get excited about, Ref 5 fussy. Wycombe 6 well organised, played the ref like a fiddle. |

Jaakola: 7. Generally sound and one good second half save. Possibly doesn't command 6 yard box at crosses.
Little: nole.
Davies: 7. Solid. Will be caught by pace but Wycombe had about as much of that as we have.
Craig: 7. Solid as a rock throughout. So consistent.
Leahy: 7. Despite comments on here, I felt he was one of our better players today.
Upson: 6. Did what he does quite well.
Clarke: 5. Not at his best but never stopped hassling.
Ogogo: 7. Battled hard and produced a Sinclair-esque covering every blade performance.
Sercombe: 6. Did very little and looks a shadow of the player he was, which is sad. That said, came close with two good free kicks.
Nichol: 4. I quite like much of his game but today he was back to the boy in a man's game performance.
Adeboyejo: 7. Some promising signs and clearly has something about him. Could he form a partnership with JCH?
Hare: 6. Did ok on his home debut. Shows promise but he's no Little yet.
JCH: 6. Hungry but clearly not fit yet.
Bennett: nole.
Ref: 6. Ok. No better, no worse.
Wycombe: 6. Effective away performance but they're not good to watch. The big man is a credit to them and the game though.
Crowd: 7. Tried to be lively in first half, but didn't get a response from the players today.
GC: 5. Got team and tactics wrong IMO. Too late to change things.
