Anyone see Couglan's interview about the fans RE Taylor and amnesty bins? Absolutely loved it.
Good man!

Have to say, that on a day when Junior Agogo is remembered I hope fans will think twice about being over hostile towards Taylor. What's the point. We all know why he left, we all know the way and his reasons. Every manager in the Championship apart from one knew that he wasn't good enough at that level. Why does it always have to be one or the other with these things? I'll be doing both.

Really, l get it you do not agree with Ollies opinion; however, unlike the snake, Ian Holloway is arguably one of the best attacking central midfielders BRFC ever had, certainly the best imo, and l for one would welcome him back as Manager, he is a real Bristolian legend. I agree that Ollie was one of the best MF players we've ever had. I used to love watching him play, during all 3 of his playing stints with us. I also used to love watching The Snake play for us, he was one of our best ever number 10's. Junior Agogo, God rest his soul, was another Gas forward of distinction. When he decided he wanted to move on, he first signed a new contract to ensure we got a fee for him. Ditto Ricky Lambert. Barry Hailes, offered the chance to sign for The Sh1t turned them down out of respect for our club and fans. Holloway, a self- proclaimed Gas Head, left our club a total of 3 times to advance his career. According to Geoff Dunford, he ASKED to be fired from his managers job, then promptly went and signed for QPR. Not satisfied with a new contract then Ollie? Decided you'd like a bit of compo as well, did you? Ollie, the devout Gashead also hijacked our signing of Jermain Easter, and later, he refused to loan him to us, and kept him in Milwalls f**king reserves for the rest of the season. Big Gashead heart on display there Ollie. To sum up then, Holloway is just as big a turncoat as Taylor in a lot of ways. Just because he talks in that terrible professional Bristolian accent and pretends to be a Gas legend breaks no ice with me. True legends come in the shape of the other Gentlemen I have mentioned. Biggest load of inaccurate rubbish I've read on here, which is saying a lot...especially this week.

Update: Snake didn’t score. Snake booked, got himself injured and his team lost 3-1 in his absence. Couldn’t have gone any better!

He really couldn’t have done any worse: comedic fall in the box, disgraceful booking and then off injured.

Taylor was defintely terrified today, looked a shell of his former self. Should of been sent of for tanking our players head. Fell over and also missed a sitter. Brown and Harrison were there to console him. Suprused Taylor was allowed in the directors boxes.

Listening to the radio and reading this forum, I've concluded I saw a different game. I thought Oxford were the superior side, going down our right side with ease, and dominating the midfield. Fortunately they didnt take there chances and today we did. Our centre backs look great, jch is getting back to full fitness, hare has a great cross from both feet. But both hare and leahy are exposed easily and I thought Clarke and ogogo were poor.

Credit to GC. Had a game plan and it worked a treat. Fantastic result.

And yet we scored three, had a goal disallowed and missed a couple of other good chances (Smith header for example).

Oxford may have played easy on the eye tippy tappy but they had no real penetration and their defence turned like a roundabout when we were firing at them from the sides. We beat them 3-1 and it could have been more. What else do you want?

These players can't wait to get away from us to further their careers, then can't get back fast enough when injured or dropped. And what were they doing letting that little snake in the Directors box? They do know he's reviled by the fans, don't they?

And surely it is up to the Oxford directors who they allow in their box?

Why were we frisked today, was it case we were hiding a snake, if so, the elderly gentleman in front of me fooled them, he had a walking stick which which could have been one of those magicians canes that turn into a snake.
