Just leaving Regensburg. Sailing from Amsterdam to Budapest. Good man, enjoy! You’ll see some cracking cities. I live in Bratislava so let me know if you need any tips for Vienna, Bratislava or Budapest

Thought we showed progress today with this formation but not getting carried away but I am really chuffed for Nichols, I am a fan of his technical ability, but understand that his lack of goals was a massive issue, but fair shout to him for today, great Junior send off with the shirts, sheer class from the club #UTG

3-5-2/5-3-2 most definitely suits the squad and players we have.
In this formation, it is all about the wing backs and with Little and THD still to come into that formation (although dropping Hare would be harsh), it does bode well. I do worry about CM and CB cover though as we have all our senior players who can naturally play in that position on the field.

Thought we were excellent once Taylor went off, think the focus changed from him to the game itself which helped us massively. Dropped a little deep at start of 2nd half but that back 3 look a very solid unit. That formation definitely suits the players we have going forward I still think we need a bit more creativity in that advanced midfield role but the three central players were all impressive today. Fantastic 3 points & a fitting tribute to Junior

Did he? I watched on iFollow and he didn't clap at all, unless he did right at the end as he went into the tunnel. Who did he applaud to, the blackthorn or west stand/family stand? Family Enclosure and West Enclosure. It was within the last few yards of his time on the pitch. I think you'll find that was a sarcastic clap as he was getting plenty (I was in the family stand and saw it).

Have to say Oxford are a good side and will expect them to climb the table, played some nice footy, just didn't take their chances.
Today for large portions of the game we showed as team that we can mix with the better side. A confidence was found, players were battling and we actually begun to put passes together with some control.
All over the pitch the players grew in to the game and settled and was encouraging. Craig at the back is an absolute leader, Ogogo for me was MoM sensational, tracked down every player he could, made his tackles, great performance. All players can be proud, showed they had some bottle today.
We ultimately took the chances we created and maybe found a system working for the players we have.
As a caller on the radio said, if the budget could be stretched, we brought in 1 or 2 quality midfielders, we'd have a more complete squad.
On another note, today was great advert for Bristol Rovers if potential takeover is on the cards; massive respect shown for Junior Agogo, Crowd supporting the players best atmosphere for a while - Need more of that, kept the snake out of the game before he limped off, and we won 3-1!

It does suit us, but in case of injury or tiring players, there is only Meneyese at the back who could come in, and Sercombe in the middle of midfield, and he is a very different sort of player.

On another note, today was great advert for Bristol Rovers if potential takeover is on the cards; Yeah, right. I can just imagine some potential owner sitting in the stand, listening to the fans singing that they`re gonna have a party, when one of our ex players is dead. Who`s that going to impress? Kim Jong-un?

Oxford fans seem to think they were beaten by a poor side, shower of sh** that sort of thing, I wasnt there, were we as bad as they are saying or are they just bitter sore losers? The latter!

I thought the midfield worked their bollocks off but we did get lucky in the last 20 mins to not concede. At the final whistle we had 3 of our players lying knackered on the pitch so I can see a reserve team against Brighton.. victor and Tom upfront for one.

I saw some dickhead with his kids screaming into oxfords dressing room window..screaming obscenities in front of his kids calling Taylor everything you can think of. For me it’s a shame that today was the best atmosphere we’ve had for along time and all because of one man and next game it will be quiet and 1000 down on attendance

Football supporters say stupid things. Nothing new there. It was a player who left us for our bitter city rivals, sure they would understand the context.

Taylor never put anything on the Gate.Oxford bringing 900 plus fans did against Tuesdays gate. Our crowds are down, but that is something that I can understand given our start, struggle to stay up last season and lack of progress off the field during summer. Also our summer signing didnt excite anyone. If we play well against Brighton Tues, win next Saturday then our next home gate will be higher than todays gate in the 8k like normal.

How can you defend people singing about celebrating an ex players death? Forget the fact we were also celebrating Juniors life ffs. I’m dumbfounded by this.
