He was trying to sneak off into his snake hole for a little hibernation and realised there was nowhere to hide. Subsequently slithered off to safer climes.

Such a weird injury to get, walking/stood still in the centre circle and just suddenly goes down - suddenly out for up to 8 weeks. Age is catching up with you Matty, probably doesn't help when you're not playing any football 😇 According to Karl Robinson the pitch gave way beneath him - what a jerk!! There must be a sink hole somewhere on the pitch that no one has noticed. It could've been a sprinkler hole I suppose |

It could've been a sprinkler hole I suppose Pretty sure even if that was the case a player would twist their ankle not do their groin, given how little he's played since he left us you do have to wonder if he was up to starting games in any event, particularly as the sole striker. |
