JCH only 25 . Give him a long term deal now Along with kilgour and Davies Can't lose them for peanuts Honestly, I'd give JCH a 5 year contract without blinking. The bloke is genuinely a league above. If he carries on like he is now, he's probably worth £2m in January He's already been interviewed recently about his burning ambition to be "the best he can be"...and he wont get that with us. He has continued scoring so his already high stock will be getting ever higher and I dont think he will even sign a new contract, unless its on the basis he can still be allowed to talk to interested clubs (except the teds)

Not true at all! Even the subs that didn't get on all came over to clap the away end. Dont see the point in making up rubbish like this. Yes they all came over to clap the fans, but didn’t put in the effort on the pitch for the fans after a 400 mile round trip We made. Relagation written all over this squad and management I’m afraid, only one game I know but we look lacking all over the pitch.Just going to leave this here.

I honestly don't mind JCH leaving (within reason). I don't mind any player leaving, as long as we get what they're worth. It's when they go for free, we end up losing £3m per year & have a small budget because of it that winds me up

It also irritates me when average players score a few goals and go for at least a million, whilst ours seem to leave well below what we would value them at. I dont know how clubs like Peterborough manage signing expensive players on 4 year deals, but they seem to manage it on smaller crowds. All comes down to the new stadium which is why its so vital for our club.

I know they have a policy that whenever a player is within a year of his contract, he immediately goes onto the transfer list. Harrison I had absolutely no problem with his transfer. IMO we got exactly his worth. Bodin I accepted through gritted teeth, but ultimately we received good money for 6 months left on his contract. Taylor is obviously Taylor. Brown angered me. Lockyer f*cked me right off. It's why when Ellis returns later this season, I'll try to specifically come to that game and I'll give the bloke a standing ovation. The fact he was there today sums it up for me. God what a team we let go for peanuts. Onwards and upwards though, here's hoping we've learnt our lessons

Its pretty clear already who our most important players are and we should make sure they are tied down, especially Kilgour who ive been well impressed with for a lad in his first year of 1st team league football.

Moaning about the referee as usual? Yeah and the rest. Two penalty's? Fosu clearly dived both times

A poor manager who somehow always seems to get a job. Oxford will expect results for what they’re spending but all they’ll get from him is excuses

Two penalty's? Fosu clearly dived both times HAHA!! that first one was the worst dive I have ever seen. Even my gf commented saying “is he f*cking stupid? He was on a good position” Literally threw himself to the floor when we looked at him

Yeah. Particularly given the nature of the abuse he took, I thought he conducted himself really well today. Yeah whacking Kilgour in the back of the head was a wonderful touch. I mean in terms of how he reacted, or rather didn't react, to the vile abuse from some so called fans. The challenge on Kilgour apparently wasn't good (far side from me so hard to see) but to an extent that is part of the game. All in all, he behaved better than some in the crowd did. It seemed to be rent a mob day. Even in the West, which is as genteel as the 'cricket pavillion' setting might suggest, there were a couple behind me screaming abuse at him throughout. Maybe they usually stand elsewhere but I hadn't seen them before. I hope I don't again.

Karl Robinson giving us the usual plaudits I see.......said nobody, ever. Appeared to be getting involved with someone in the West Stand before the game too. Not a manager I'd want here.

Difficult conundrum for any club.
