Yes, I know there's a similar thread on the go with the Snake, etc, but that all detered from the actual thread a bit.
So what's thoughts on tomorrow? Everyone going? If we played like we did Tuesday night I can see a good game, Rovers winning and taking a nice little 3 points. JCH & Smithy, 2-1 Gas.
Come on!!!

If we play like we did the other night then we can take all 3 points. If not, they have the players to hurt us.
Would take a point and move on from all the madness right now.

What?? If we play like we did on Tuesday, against NINE MEN, then we will lose. Oxford are a good side, and we were awful on Tuesday.

I'd like us to sneak out with a 2-1 win.
But you just know what'll happen, 2-1 win for Oxford with you know scoring.

I think it will be an ill-tempered 2-2 draw, and you know who will get on the scoresheet.

With all the useful talking, you had to ruin it, didn't you...?

We got the ball down, passed it, played with width and were never in any danger. We played more football than I've seen from a GC side previously and ir was a welcome change. Tranmere were poor, for sure, but you can only beat what is front of you and we did that comfortably with no alarms. The only criticism from me was not getting that second goal earlier but that's not easy when they have everyone behind the ball.

I hope the atmosphere gets the players up for this
Kilgour and Craig will deal with anything they might offer
We need to be positive, take our game to them. 3-5-2 again. I’d like us to be a little more attacking in the middle, with Upson, Clarke and Sercombe/Nichols making up the trio.
We aren’t far off being half decent, a fully charged JCH will show the snake how it’s done. Strangely I fancy us more now they have the snake. Brings us together, gives us a voice, and unites the fan base.
A win here and we are up and running.
Stay classy gas heads. We are better than needing to resort to mindless actions. Let’s save our class for remembering Junior and letting Taylor know what we think once 3-0 up !!!
UTG!

They generally have a positive result at the Mem in recent times, as we do at their place. But I’m confident of a second win at home this week, 3-1 to the Rovers.

I’d play same side as Tuesday other than swapping Sercombe for one of the three midfielders who started in that game (if Sercs is fit).

We were slow, lethargic and completely lacked any creativity against nine men for almost the entire second half. For a while we were being pinned back by the nine men and we were very fortunate that their no.6 missed that sitter.
